“The Emperor’s New Suit” or the “Emperor’s New Clothes” is a fairy tale of an emperor who was tricked into believing he bought a priceless suit and his subjects were afraid to dare even think otherwise. Republicans love employers and oppose anything that would raise the minimum wage. Donald Trump a longtime employer with lots of opportunities to try to make sure none of his employees were new Americans or undocumented workers without any sign he ever did so. If he stated opposition to Mexicans before deciding to run as a Republican instead of Democrat he would not be suing a Mexican Restaurant for breach of contract.

Donald Trump sounds more like a future emperor, or Napoleon, rather than a future President as he rants and raves against Mexicans, particularly pregnant women who have their children born here to get US citizenship. Never mind all the Chinese women who actually fly here with the encouragement of the Chinese government or those from Central America who pass through Mexico on their way to the US where the jobs are.

The problem is that Republicans don’t want to call his bluff because it would expose them all as hypocrites for not going after employers and pro-immigration groups don’t want to say anything about employers which would make it harder for immigrants to find work, but something has to give or else Trump may not only possibly become President after fighting off an impeachment hearing unlike Nixon who submitted, become dictator in a Presidential coop.

His actual views on hot button issues may be quite liberal. He could never be another Hitler because Hitler believed what he said, but Stalin who controlled Russia was ruthless toward his enemies. Let’s oppose Donald Trump while it is still safe to do so by exposing the way Republicans play games with immigration, and immigration activists want to keep jobs available for immigrants, despite the fact that it keeps their criticism of him from accomplishing anything.
