There is no reason to doubt this. Nothing new here. Sexual intimidation is an old method of terrorism. We should not be surprised at medieval methods used by modern "law" enforcement. I will be surprised, however, if any action is taken to punish those involved. Take heed at what fellow countrymen, and those they import, are willing to be a part of when it comes to these activities. Be wary and never trust them.

This allegation requires an immediate investigation.
All officers on duty in that detention facility must be interrogated and, where they fail to account for the misbehavior, discharged.

The actions committed against detainees to coerce submission were done with the intention of eliciting a violent response in order to justify further painful acts of brutality (hospitalizatio n?) and criminal charges, such as "assault against an officer" and "resisting arrest."

An officer with access to cameras would show his own bruises. His peers in the ranks would "blame" the arrestee for the injuries the arrestee sustained for "resisting."
It's an old police smear game.

Good thing these kids have been conditioned that "resistance is futile" against goons hiding behind the "veil of legitimacy" and/or that the Gandhian approach of "passive resistance" works best. The victims can appear in court with a clean conscience and all the equities on their side.

This woman needs to submit a formal complaint to the Metro Toronto Police Services, as well as to the Ontario SIU.

While I don't agree with many of the objectives of the demonstrators, I certainly defend their right to peaceable assembly and the right to legitimate dissent. If their civil rights were trampled on, so were mine.

If the police did break the law, they should be held accountable.

I believe that most police men and law enforcement officers hide behind their uniform and status to intimidate women AND men, but especially women. I don't trust them, never have, as a child saw something that made me suspicious of policemen.

What a crock.

Law enforcement[sic ] in western society, especially in America, has become a para-military brotherhood of steroid hyped-up, schoolyard bullies who spent too much time in the military learning to kill innocent Mid-East civilians, and now can't find legit, benevolent jobs because they are now mentally unstable and can't be trusted by anyone looking for employees. Before anyone comes back with something stupid like "Who are you gonna call the next time you need help?", let it be known that my first choice will not be the police!!! Call a bunch of egv9q"Bullies with badges"? I don't think so!!

To "rabble": If you think this report is a "crock" then you have no right to call yourself rabble because you've obviously never been on the other side of the barricades.

More proof that women are still 2nd class citizens, and that police powers are out of control. No where close to their "protect and serve" days. For more horrors on police check out www.injusticeeverywhere.com

This needs to be investigated. Sometimes those who are trusted to serve and protect the public are criminals.

What is the sense of being a "Pig" if you can't act like one?

What motivates a person to become a police officer.
Is it the money they make?
Is it their status in the community?
Is it the feeling of being part of the gang?
Is it the power?
Is it that they get to carry a gun?
Is it the gun and the power?
Is it the gun and the power and the gang?
Dam!
Where is robo-cop when you need him?

This sounds like the kind of thing Blackwater (Xe) would do. Have Canada's police forces been privatized and contracted out to Blackwater?

much is done to make the resistance to globalism appear as the bad guys.....the evil lurks in those buildings, not outside

The slow incremental process of increasing police brutality reminds me of the old story about how to cook a frog, turn up the heat gradually and the frog never jumps out of the pot.....
coming soon to a (US) city near you!

Yes, that is what it looks like to me also.

Demonstrate, protest and this is how you will be treated. The police were clearly trained, indoctrinated and specifically given free reign to abuse other human beings during arrest, transport and detention. What was the police objective in doing this? Scare and warn all of Canada that freedom of speech, assembly, peaceful protest are no longer to be tolerated?

why aren't police stations and interrogation rooms under camera surveillance? this is very nasty business...

First Europeans heard of Canada sending people who were refusing to go to fight in Iraq back to the US, then we heard about the Prime Minister's disturbing position on many issues and now we hear about these really unbelievable G20 treatment of demonstrators and journalists. What has happened to Canada?
