Only a fool depends on information from MSM or expects them to represent the truth. Corporations, et al., depend on these meetings to reaffirm their standing world-wide. MSM is corporate. Those who are concerned turn to forums such as this, and World Link Television.

Peaceful demonstrations don't drive ratings or sell newspapers. So, who would expect them to be covered? "Exciting" is not the same thing as "important". Duh.

THe Canadian Prime Minister, his gang of thugs and their Right Wing script writers from the Fraser and the American Enterprise Foundation knew the animosity that was seething just below the surface and they staged this spectacle knowing the Corporate Media would eat it up like so much fodder. I hope they all choke on it and go to hell when their time comes.

Shame on the media for ignoring the issues and focusing on a few violent incidents. I was there at the peaceful march and my message regarding tax reform: "We have a fiscal system of Robin Hood in reverse: Take from the poor to give the rich!" The rich have tax havens, tax loopholes and tax credits, they hardly pay 4 per cent in taxes and they still have the gall to ask for subsidies while making record profits. We have a fiscal system of welfare for the rich. What a shame. My message was completely ignored by the mainstream media, even though I made my sign and carried it on the train all the way from Montreal. Shame! Shame!

Actually, I did see the demonstrations here, in Fresno, California. Democracy Now showed an hour that included many interviews. Everyone can see it at democracynow.org
