Just when you think life is too complicated, along comes a solution: eliminate taxes. OK, not all taxes, but the taxes that are not worth the paper it takes to compute them, collect them, verify them and then bail out the persons who paid them and now, can't eat.
So, no more federal income tax on families who earn less than 250,000 per year. Graduated income tax above that level.. and, forget deductions and loopholes.
National sales tax: 10% on domestic goods; 20% on imports: paid by wholesaler / importer and passed through in pricing.
You're welcome.
