The current budget situation and unemployment and why Republicans are trying to stop progress:

As I sit here trying to figure out what to write about for my first attempt at getting published on RSN, I realize one issue that continues to annoy me about our current unemployment and budget crisis. In previous times of recession/depression, the government helped bolster the economy by creating jobs with infrastructure. In order to create jobs, we will most certainly have to spend some money to kick-start to the whole process. But at the end of the day, the money spent is an absolute investment into the security of our future. It will also have a compounding effect, thus creating more permanent jobs due to the new infrastructure.

As much as I hate to say it, we are going to have to spend some money. If we were to spend 800 billion dollars on infrastructure (like we did to bail out a bunch of crooks on Wall Street), we could create thousands of jobs across the country. We need infrastructure upgrades across the board, bridges need repair, communications systems in most of the country still need upgrades, borders need to be secured from cartels, and renewable energy needs to be pushed through a lot faster. These four main points, which are probably the most critical, need to be addressed immediately while creating thousands of jobs across the country and providing a sound investment for future generations.

As we face resource depletion (water specifically), we seriously need to take a look in the mirror. That’s another topic, and I will cover it in more detail in a future article, but it’s part of the infrastructure solution. Why not have pipelines that can bring water from several parts of the country to each other, to help drought-stricken areas. We are about to put in a toxic-pipeline from Canada to Texas, so on that same note why not run water pipelines across the country. We could share water from the east-coast or upper mid-west to Texas for example. Water has become such a commodity, that if anyone is interested in an investment opportunity, I might just take a crack at it... kidding of course. Imagine how many jobs that would create, while the cost would probably be extremely exorbitant, it couldn’t cost any more than an “oil-sands” pipeline. Above all else, it would prevent us from being a third-world country in the coming decades.

Republicans and Tea-Partiers are trying to block this infrastructure/jobs idea, mainly because the closet-racists don’t want to make deal with a “black man”, and want nothing more than for him to fail. But if Rick Perry is the best they have, then Obama is a shoo-in for re-election. Hispanics hate Perry and African Americans view Perry as a racist more and more every day. Essentially, every time Perry opens his mouth, his bigotry and lack of I.Q. shows just a little more. To be honest for what Obama inherited, he hasn’t done such a bad job (except for being a Republican in a Democrat’s suit). The destruction of entitlement programs, over ending three wars we don’t even need to be in anymore, is just absurd. Make the rich pay their fair share and we can solve all of these budget-related issues almost immediately. Obama needs to quit being such a wuss and stand-up to the Tea-Partiers and Republicans alike.

Wake Up America, write your Congressman, go to the State Houses, Capitol Hill, or do something to let them know about your displeasure with their running of our government. Something has to change, and we as a people have the power to change it through Civil Disobedience.

LET YOUR VOICE BE HEARD!!
