While this comes as a relief to many election-watchers (especially on the Democratic side of the aisle), by no means is Representative Debbie Wasserman-Schultz's resignation as DNC chair the end to the ongoing scandal regarding the DNC's attempted rigging of the primaries to get Secretary Hillary Clinton the nomination. In fact, Wasserman-Schultz's resignation may only be just the beginning in the house of cards that just came crashing down.

When Senator Bernie Sanders commented on the leaked emails, he called them sad, but unsurprising/unshocking; reminding CNN's Jake Tapper that he had been raising a stink about the fact that the DNC was rigging the primary process for months. Another fact was that many of Sen. Sanders' surrogates and supporters had also been pressing the point, too. In addition, he went on to make the point that it was time for new leadership in the DNC, one that would open the party to new voting groups; many of whom Sen. Sanders was seeking to bring into the Democratic coalition.

Going forward between the convention and the election on November 8, Donna Brazille will take over as interim chair, until there's an internal vote for a new leadership. Given how corrosive Rep. Wasserman-Schultz was during the primaries, it's going to take a lot more than new leadership to bridge the divide that developed during that time period.
