After sitting through the depressive losses of the 2014 midterm elections and mulling over what is wrong with Democrats ... and Liberals ... and Progressives ... I think I understand the dynamics. Here it is short and sweet ... or not so sweet.

Progressives will get nowhere until we accept the job of ridding the world of violent Islamic extremism, by whatever means are necessary. That is put another way, the people that run the Western world are not going to allow Western Civilization to go down, so while they think there is a threat, existence takes priority over frills and people, even citizens who are not contributing to the survival or Western Civilization.

This is something that down hard or maybe can never be digested by Progressives, so I'm not going to hold my breath for a big change, but in a battle between Imperial America and the normal work-a-day schlub the MIC - Military Industrial Complex will always take priority - right or wrong. I don't enjoy being right, and will not enjoy saying I told you say since most of us will probably be long dead and gone before this is understood, digested and acted on.

Progressives answer to this situation so far has been denial and withdrawal, but I am here to speak out for another mode of existence and survival ... the PRAGMATIC WAY.

If Progressives would hold their nose and allow a VOLUNTEER MILITARY and roughly half the tax budget to go to do what needs to be done, or what the 1% think needs to be done to ensure the survival and predominance of Western Culture in the world, ( and unless they do they will always appear as terrorists and be vulnerable to that assertion and will be actively undermined ), then Progressives could demand an equal or even greater share of the economy for health care and social programs - i.e. the repair of the inequality problem. That is simple, and easy, unless Progressives insist on being dogmatic and forcing their own loss and destruction.

The answer is that both the Socialist state and the Military state coexist - they both must respect and allow for each other ... which is what has been our tradition anyway. The longer Progressives lock themselves in a corner, with their heads in the sand allowing the most vocal idiots among them to devise the platform and demand that the military disband, that we join in the kicking and stomping of Israel, the more they are going to look like idiots, the more they will be defunded, the more we all suffer.

PERIOD.

That is what it is going to take, otherwise the Military Industrial Complex will always imagine that the American people are their enemy and will be engaged in the war that we all have lost from against the working man and women and against free speech, and against education, information and whatever and anything else that will enable those against them to be more successful.

Give up on things that do not directly concern you Progressives and start to look at the things that you need, like the FDR agenda of a Second Bill of Rights, jobs, health care, education, things that will assist in survival and prosperity, and butt out of things that the globalists thing they need, like the eventual quashing of Islam, Russia and China as a threat to Western Civilization ... it is so simple.
