ARRRRGH! Mr Wizard HALP!

Between mazes of irritating voicemail non options, and the ever non helpful customer "service" representatives (associates) (in insecure non disclothed locations of course,) and the phone lines which "click" go dead, and or start to say, "if you would like to make a call, please hang up and dial again..." after waiting and wading for 20 minutes, for the "unusually high call volumes" (which are always,) I say BAH!

I really don't want to wade through endless dead ends, or speak to Susan or Tom, speaking from the opposite side of the world, with an unintelligibly thick accent, while assuring me that they know exactly what is happening in my locality.......

Consumers and cattle are us? Or are we "gold" data mines, and who needs "privacy" from electronica's electrons, which trace our lives, with corporate detail?
Not to worry our little heads, it is different "this" time, in our time, different from other times, not like the Nazi's, or others throughout history, which have done the same things, (with differing technology.) It is all being done to protect us, and offer us what we need... as only a Big Brother, or Despot, can assure. Trust us, and our worthless paper assurances..... Who needs privacy, when we can have piracy and obfuscation of reality instead. All legally, of course, because the constitution has been updated...... Trust us, we know best,

And then, there are the lovely "club" cards. I was accosted once again, yesterday morning at the lumber yard, where I have gotten materials and hardware for years beyond memory. Get a card, it is easy, and get credit back, etc. Give us your personal information, and let us further track your every breath and purchase. Oh, and what of Facebook, etc..... where our friends of friends and the dots of our lives are easy to connect... .. ...

The N.S.A. is watching all of us, but not really, nevermind now, and do not worry your little head.

BAH I say BAH! I do not want your stupid cards. Why can't "you" just charge a price which gives you enough to pay your employees and yourself enough for a reasonable living, and be done with it? And no, I do not care to be tracked and traded as a data mine, or even, by "secret" NSA folks, who do not exist, except for in the minds of "crazy" people.

I wonder, really, just who are the "crazy" ones? Pass the peanuts and the remote please. Oh, and I need to go out to the mall and buy some clothing on sale. No, I do not know or care, about the conditions of the workers, who manufacture them, nor the collapsing buildings and ruined lives, nor the remaining landfills left where living life once lived. I just want my products, and hurry up now, will you. I have a plane to catch.

Jail anyone who tries to expose the folks behind the obfuscating curtains of greed and privilege. The curtains of endess wars, and legitimate rapist bankers. The curtains of Keystone/Tarsands, of Fracking, and of the "Cheap" beyond belief Nukes, which will cost all life for thousands and thousands of years.

Jail the Mannings, the Snowdens, and any real patriot or idealist who believes, and dreams, of actual democracy, or liberty, or freedom, rather than the appearances of such.

What has become of the Gandhi's, the Kings, the Lennons, the Kennedy's of the world.... While we do nothing folks. What have we done?

What an interesting world.

Meanwhile, what ARE we leaving behind, in our consuming gluttony of disposable and non repairable "stuff" most of which we don't really need? What is left of the melting glaciers, or the Polar Bears? What is left of the superfund landfills, and in lifeless rubbles where diverse life once lived?

What is left of community, or taking care of each other? What is left of the Commons Of Nature, which supports ALL life, including our own?

Is it time to end the wanton destruction of Nature folks? All the data, and all the money mean Nothing, when compared to living diverse and healthy ecosystems, which have much greater value than the egosystems which wantonly destroy it all, and leave only barren wastelands, where life and community once thrived.

All for Money, and all for the prophets of profit. Is it past time to awaken, and to choose a future worth living in? The wall of Nature approaches rapidly, regardless of our jerking knees of entitled beliefs.

How to be satisfied and grateful, and not hungry ghosts.............. and just what are we giving back?
