The lynching of a “Hussein Obama” dummy on June 10th, 2012 by Pastor Terry Jones was publicized on various websites, originating from youtube.com, only enforced the fact that the good Pastor is a daft racist. Is it Obama that is killing our nation? Does Obama really support radical Islam? The good Pastor’s speech is largely unsupported. Not to mention the heinous act of lynching a black man! There is a tremendous difference between a hanging and a lynching. Lynching is an extrajudicial execution carried out by a mob which picked up after the Civil War. Anytime the racist felt threatened by rights being given to someone of a different shade, the lynchings would commence. It is a disturbing time in American history to reflect upon. By the good Pastor lynching a replica Obama and circulating it on the net sets the political moral clock back at least 130 years. I find it infuriating that the good Pastor hides behind Christianity and America to guise his hatred for blacks as well as all dark-skinned alike. This is a Christian who had a "trial of the Quran" on March 20, 2011 in his Gainesville, Florida church where he proceeded to burn a copy of the Qur’an. I don’t know about you, but I can surely picture Jesus Christ burning other books of religious levity, that’s just the Christian way. The good Pastor is out of control. The Grand Old Party never took this madman seriously as a presidential candidate. At least I hope they didn’t, but the support he gets from the Dove World Outreach Center and sites like: www.2012.presidential-candidates.org (who subsequently claim no allegiance) as well as his own site; (http://www.standupamericanow.org) scares me.

I know well that the country dislikes our current president, but he is doing the same inadequate job as the ones on the pulpits before him. Nothing has really changed. The job market has been slipping since 2006 by at least a 2% trend. That’s a lot of jobs. War does not provide jobs, they provide sentences for those that enlist. Bailing out Wall Street was infuriating as well. Bail me out, I need dinner. The question now is; where do we stand with the upcoming election? Four more years of the slowed degenerative state of America, or the bigoted perversion of yet another of the Ultra-rich? In my eyes the only Vice Presidential candidate worthy of making a voting impact on the Republican’s side would be the two-term Florida Governor Jeb bush. Due to constricting term limits under Florida state law, no governor can seek a third term. So unless he plans on hitting the links for the rest of his days, I doubt the Bush family will miss this opportunity to get another progeny in the White House. What other options does Romney really have? Although, Mitt Romney and Governor Rick Perry could run on the Anti-science ticket, that might get the masses behind them. Nationalism and ignorance: it’s a sure thing. For everybody’s sake, let’s just hope the Republicans go with Jeb Bush. Not that it will matter in the upcoming election. None of the elites want any of the wars to end in the Middle East and Obama has his feet plenty deep in the muck over there.

As a good American like yourself, I do not know where to look for leadership. Ron Paul would be refreshing, but he never stands a chance. It just feels like the blanket is being pulled over us again and again as a nation with the choices given in the political realm. What we need to do is get away from the Republican/Democrat parties and focus on the candidates. Then again, the candidates are there because of financial backings, the ultra-rich. They are and never were like you or me, the average hard-working American. For the record, I do not support President Obama, nor any of the leading candidates that will be running for office. I vote because it is my right as an American. I hope you will do the same. But let us close on the words of the Mad Pastor Terry Jones when he says; “Let us save America.”
Just without the whole lynching thing.

Godspeed,

Doug Jackson
