Please permit me to establish a philosophical foundation for this essay: In my RSN posts as Celtic Navigator, I often use the phrase, “military industrial financial media academic congressional judicial executive complex” to describe our command and control system in America.

In my first Godot essay, Brain Catastrophes by the Numbers: Mental Minefields We Must Traverse to Survive, I wrote: “Transitory hemispheric suppression studies by V.L. Deglin and M. Kinsbourne show that the linear, reductionist, male dominant left brain accepts false propositions merely because the internal structure of the proposition is valid, when the holistic, synthesizing, right brain knows from experience that those propositions are false. Since the great majority of government, military and religious leaders are men, this is a huge problem.” Thus we humans, with the only functionally bifurcated brain in Nature, are the only species with false alphas/leaders.

I also often quote the great Carl Linnaeus, the Father of Taxonomy, who freely admitted that his creation of the genus Homo was a fraud in a 1747 letter to his colleague Johann Georg Gmelin: “I seek from you and from the whole world a generic difference between man and simian that follows from the principles of Natural History. I absolutely know of none. If only someone might tell me a single one! If I would have called man a simian or vice versa, I would have brought together all the theologians against me. Perhaps I ought to have by virtue of the law of the discipline.”

So, my friends, not being as concerned about very rough treatment at the hands of religious zealots as Linnaeus was centuries ago, having to choose between granting apes souls or subtracting them from us, I have taken it upon myself to demote Homo sapiens – laughably meaning “wise man” - to the more honest Pan sui fallenda – Self-deceiving ape.

Okay, getting back to the Bohemian Club, as many as 2,900 rich, powerful and influential self-deceiving male apes shun the company of wiser, holistic and synthesizing/problem-solving right-brained female apes, who are not immune to self-deception, but tend to practice much less deadly forms of it. Of the tens of thousands of wars through history, name ONE started and prosecuted by women, please. Imagine, if you can, the horrors and manipulations that nearly 3,000 powerful male "too much intelligence and not nearly enough wisdom" IDIOTS left to their own devices can dream up over a 16-day period every year since 1876! One wonderful idea first discussed at the Bohemian Grove was the development of the atomic bomb.

Since a picture is worth a thousand words, here are two 1909 photos from the Grove of a black teenage boy being hanged and laid out on a table in preparation for being burned as a sacrifice in the Cremation of Care opening ceremony.

Teddy Roosevelt was known to have attended these 1909 revels, and I think that may be him at the far left in dark suit and roadster cap, being handed the tail end of the hanging rope. I also think that the younger man directly under the gibbet's cross beam, in wide-brimmed hat and with a cigarette holder in his mouth, might be the then 26-year-old FDR.

It is claimed that only dolls are burned in modern Cremation of Care bonfires, but personally, I would require solid confirmation of that, because few of these Masters of War are shy of very real bloodletting on a massive scale, and their power has grown exponentially since the Grove's early years.

I realize there is a lot to explore here, but I feel it is essential to really understand the nature of the beast. This partial list of Bohemian Grove camps shows that it goes far beyond the military industrial complex Ike warned us about. Stanford University has its own camp, for example, and media big wigs assemble in another – Charlie Rose gave a talk in the Grove in 2003 and is a member.

Addressing my notion of shutting down this gathering of self-deceiving apes from hell, I realize that it is a private club on private property. However, taxpayer dollars pay for a lot of the very heavy security around the Grove for two weeks in mid July. And many government officials attending are being paid for the time they spend there by us. Since 90% of the what we see, hear and read in America is controlled by only 6 corporations and 227 execs, we can look for no help from mainstream media.

But with a concerted effort, we could make things very uncomfortable for these bastards: small land and air spy drones, activists locking themselves together across access roads, large groups of protesters invading the Grove, forcing mass arrests and media attention, alternative media blitz, etc. Its time to step in and put an end to this murderous spoiled baby boy brat behavior once and for all! 11% of men on Earth gather in groups that keep secrets, some benign and some malignant.
