Could Probably call it abuse, leaves me exhausted, worn and stressed. Have no desire to be that 'angry white man', ever battling that anger. When all the signals are pointing in that direction, it is time to become removed, to exit the fray.

Of course its the news... and the blogs.

The dismantled, and disorganized thoughts. Sophistry at its best, (worst?) Unintelligle arguments where honest debate should be.

We call ourselves adult.

Pretenders; pretentious dribblers, consistently and constantly spewing idiotic regurgitations of a skewed and, often far removed, diatribe. Most often intellectually ineffectual misinformation of a manipulative nature, from sources whose very design it is to profit from the misgivings of their demographic.

Left, Right, Social, or Independent.

If you watch their television programming, or shows, (especially television) or you go to their meetings, read their magazines/newspapers or books they write. If you come away angry at another demographic, no matter what that demographic is, in the morals/values arena, or politics, (for parties love to make their point based on morality), you have been manipulated. The rage you feel should be toward yourself, for not having the intellectual will to discover what was laid before you in words or performance.

If the heads are talking, they are performing. If the words were written, the name next to the word 'By" is a performer. Designed to entice, encite, enrage, and otherwise negatively influence you into a behavior or belief that becomes a positive profit for them. May not be about money, but trust in it, there is money somewhere.

But if you enjoy that, then by all means go for it. The problems you raise are not your own, they are also a matter of concern for those you effect. Those you deal with, do business with and family/friends who suffer the consequences of your acting out while enraged and angry.

Angry at what though? The anger or feelings of disenfranchisement, or disappointment, or possibly betrayal, are a boon profit by those whose intentions were to successfully induce that effect. If you're angry that way, someone is profiting from that, and your rage was their purpose.

Influence is the key to all of this. We, as a people, not just Americans, (but yes, especially Americans) need... no must, take a close look at what our influences are, and make choices that are for our own betterment. We want our influences to be positive, or at a minimum provide the influence that we can be complicit with. If your purposes are for other than positive, you are invited to leave now... I am waiting.

Statements like "You can't conceive it" or "its over your head" or you "don't have the capacity to understand". All tell me that someone has something to hide and wishes not to be drilled about it.

"They lie" or they are "taking money". Vilification, criminalization.

Any construct of Rich Vs Poor, like "They need to pay more" or they "don't carry their weight" is class warfare. Designed... well you know.

All this told me at a very young age, to not rely on another's definition of fairness. To make my own determinations regarding my expectations, of society, government and many more. Mostly of what I expect from those around me.

Not being one that holds alot of friends it is often the ones that I work or live with that teaches the lessons I need. Not intentionally but a lesson can be drawn from them. As even more often the lesson is oddly portrayed or hidden or from unexpected sources.

A visitor passes through my office spewing an opinion regarding this or that, I learned early on, the man isn't here for a discussion. And it doesn't cost me anything to listen, I may even learn something new. Doesn't matter about what, just learn.

So he didn't hear my opinion regarding his opinion. So what, he didn't get to bask in my minimal knowledge or superior ability to make that knowledge public?

The next step in the evolution is to conclude that it doesn't cost me to listen... or to discuss with another, what some may call an opposing view. Is someone going to consider me liberal/conservative if I discuss liberal/conservative issues with a Liberal/Conservative? Or maybe a traitor? And what if they do?

I do not recall signing a contract with any politician or social engineer or anyone for that matter that ties me or mine or my families well being to an action/behavior/opinion/ideology by another, an action or statement on their part does not require an approval/ defense or validation of it on my part. I am not required to cosign.

Having a discussion, to understand a viewpoint. Not doctrination, or brainwashing, or subordinating an ideology to anothers. A silent means of coming to an understanding, without wasting any of my WPD, (thats Words-per-day quota)
