Ebola Pakistan, a Real Reason to Panic, Instead of Ebola Hype

Many are saying “Don't Panic over Ebola”, but there is a lot worth panicking about or being terrified of, for instance, someone scared to report a fever or with friends they visited in the last three weeks who are running from the police, and afraid of being forced to reveal their identity. Sooner or later this is going to happen unless it is dealt with a head of time.

Perhaps people who need to hide a fever or a friend with a fever should be offered, in advance, tight parole with no punishment unless retribution isn't for-coming, but as part of the probation or parole have to wear a vital signs reader, a tracking device, and embedded cameras. For lesser incidents instead of punishment for not reporting one's whereabouts in Africa, subsidized cheap hotels in or near international airports fully catered would be where many would want to be or have relatives, or employers who would insist on it.

But there is something even more urgent to panic about. In Pakistan there were no contingency plans on Ebola before Oct 15 when a contingent of Pakistani UN peacekeepers were changing shift in the Congo. Fortunately plans are now being made and the African peacekeepers were quarantined for 21 days. The chance in a million that one of them was sick might not equal the millions of people who might get sick if Ebola went on a rampage in Pakistan. The UN warns that with only spotty public health care Pakistan is ripe for an Ebola epidemic. Let's urge the UN to stop hiring Pakistani peacekeepers in Africa.

Historically there should have been international, instead of just localized, panic when the first case of Cholera appeared after the Haitian earthquake, brought in by UN aid workers from Nepal. The UN kept playing the denial game, for several critical days when an overwhelming international response would have likely stopped it. Now cholera outbreaks keep popping up in several Latin American countries. I wish the UN would learn its lesson from what happened in Haiti.

Scrawl to the picture.

A determined minority in Pakistan doesn't trust healthcare workers due to the US rogue operation of using polio shots to secretly take blood samples to catch bin Laden. Some would be upset by any healthcare workers from the US and NATO, others hate anyone from India. Unless enough Muslim healthcare workers can be imported, the only hope for not having Ebola constantly threatening Asia. like Cholera does Latin America, would be Cuba tripling its contingency of health care workers treating Ebola in Africa and having a contingency on hand in Pakistan, even though the Ebola workers would be treating other diseases while waiting for the first Ebola case. China could help as well without local militants sabotaging their efforts.

Cuba had already helped with medical and other aid during the 2005 earthquake,

There is nothing directly the west can do to stop Ebola from becoming an epidemic in Pakistan.

I want to temporarily change the subject to my often repeated point in other Ebola articles: Please urge Ebola survivors to go back without masks and gloves like the UN is hiring Ebola survivors to take care of sick infants. Ebola patients would look less scary if the newsman was Ashoka Mukpo a cameraman who survived Ebola shook their hand during the interview or in some other way touched them. I am a state of panic that I get no feedback and can't find any survivors email address only that a hospital might forward my link if after reading they thought it appropriate. Now back to the other reasons to panic.

BACK TO ARTICLE.
US troops are still in Afghanistan, If Ebola was in the area, treating a badly injured US soldier by lowering body temperature would delay noting first fever, there would be less human touch in army hospitals and mail from the front would give a touch of fear mixed in with the joy of receiving something from a loved one. If the US ever wanted to exit the Afghan War the right way which would be a peace treaty with the Taliban, Cuban peacekeepers could monitor Kabul being semi-autonomous for a predetermined number of months, and treaty agreements to avoid retribution for a preset number of days to cool temper, any other future for Pakistan would leave US translators in permanent fear.

Enclosed is an article on Cuban doctors fighting Ebola, I picked a sad one of a Cuban administrator in Africa dying of Malaria because treatment was delayed for two critical days as he was mistakenly treated for Ebola. Everyone helping to stop this epidemic is a hero whether American or not,

The internet was full of hate comments against Thomas Duncan claiming he came to America to receive good healthcare clearly if he ever thought his sick neighbor didn't die of pregnancy complications, she had an awful stomach ache and died before full Ebola symptoms appeared. If he hadn't been certain she had only pregnancy complications Thomas Duncan would have told the doctors not to send him home after two days. The following link of the result of this confusion in Africa is heart-rendering,

The cries of pressing manslaughter charges against Thomas Duncan had he lived makes it more likely of someone would try to hide the fact they have a fever and anyone who was helping the sick person feeling obliged to try to hide as well,

The pure hate spouted on the Internet against Kaci Hickox, who insisted on taking bike rides while free of systems is something we should panic over. If the politicians who condemn her like the Governor of Maine win, it will be another reason we should panic over our future. The fact that us so called intelligent human beings can do something as stupid as refusing burnt ash in a landfill is cause for panic on how wacky things might end up.

A lot of what is happening must have more to do with our primitive internal emotions rather than logic,

I also attempted to directly fight Emotion with emotion I really envy the excitement of Ebola survivors welcomed by the President and others, while in recent cases never really getting that sick,

A slightly similar article I hope the readers would help me find more,

In conclusion those who want intelligent solutions are wrong in thinking there are too much hysterics. We should instead get hysterical about such things as the UN continuing to hire Pakistani troops in the Congo, and anything that would make someone afraid to report a fever, or might want to hide the fact that they recently was in contact with someone with Ebola.
