Why No Tax Cuts for the Rich ?

Why not extend tax cuts for the rich along with the other 98% of the country? THEY DON”T WORK! Pardon me for shouting but it seems like this obvious point is lost on so many people. Historically, tax cuts for the rich (read trickle down economics) have never worked except for the rich. Just look at our country’s shrinking growth since Reagan began trickle down economics and the excessive deregulation of the financial industry. From WW2 to early 1980’s middle class income and buying power steadily increased then began a decline to the present. However, the wealthy have thrived on this ideology and have gained a greater portion of the nation’s wealth (talk about the redistribution of wealth). And these tax cuts have always increased the deficit without any substantial benefit to society. A creator of jobs they say? Well where’s the “Beef”, where’re the JOBS? Look at the economy after the eight years of conservative ideology! The Republicans will say we had larger revenues after the tax cuts went into effect. If you look at that increase they are not any more substantial than what occurs with population growth. Besides, look at the total effect of those eight years: economic catastrophe. Why no tax cuts for the top 2%? IT DOESN'T WORK!

Another point about conservative small government ideology is that it has created a decline in nearly everything good America once stood for. We have lost our place in the world for quality education, we’re down in number of college graduates, down in manufacturing and in US derived patents. Instead we can now boast a crumbling infrastructure, higher mortality rate for newborns, and less efficient health care system (hopefully will improve with present reforms). The list goes on! Worst of all is the decline in middle class income and buying power. The conservative ideology of small government is destroying our country! It is no small coincidence that most of the Republicans donations come from the wealthiest few, as they profit the most from this ridiculous ideology. Our distribution of wealth is now more like a banana republic than a modern western nation! People vote for this insanity?

So please -

Everyone, everybody, send a message
to the President.
NO TAX CUTS TO THE RICH
Please Pass It On!
