Wisconsin Governor Walker Named “Governor of the Decade”

“Sociopath Magazine” has awarded its prestigious “Sociopathic Governor of the Decade Award” to Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker. The magazine noted their state executive award is handed out annually, but given Mr. Walker’s rapid contributions to the degradation of the American political scene in less than one year in office, editor J. Digby Hamilton decided Mr. Walker has earned the award for the next ten years.

“I mean, come on, this guy is pure platinum when it comes to sociopathic leadership,” Hamilton said. “His ability to say one thing and do another, pit neighbor against neighbor, subtly mix rumor and innuendo with outright lie, take credit for the hard work of previous administrations, pad state contracts to contributors and to then serve it up fresh day after day on a big platter of frothing, steaming fear is truly something to behold.”

Previous winners of sociopathic honors at the magazine include recently convicted former Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich and every previous Illinois governor going back three administrations.

“We used to think Illinois had a lock on this award, but really, Walker has taken political anti-social sociopathic behavior above and beyond – er, below – anything we could have imagined,” Hamilton said. “We knew we had someone special when he had that phone conversation with the fake David Koch and talked about sending hooligans in to mess up those peaceful demonstrators but he decided not to do it because it might make him look bad.

“I mean, wow, that is world class anti-social sociopathic political leadership; and he’s doing it right outta’ the gate! Hell, those dopes in Tunisia, Egypt and Syria took decades to learn how to operate that smoothly. This Walker guy is a natural sociopath and one to be watched. With that kind of talent he could be making wise in the White House before you know it.”

Walker spokesman Jeremy Obtuse told this reporter, “The Governor is grateful for yet another prestigious public recognition of his innovative and bold leadership designed to make Wisconsin open for business.”
