Ron Paul Tent Hopefully only Temporarily Closing, Obama-ites seeking solutions with survivalists, the way Ron Paul and Obama seek solutions, not one-up-man-ship, like the other politicians do.

Most think Obama and Ron Paul are as different as politicians can be. But recently Shoshana Bryen on American Thinker came to the opposite conclusion,*

Both, in there own way, want America to have a less threatening stance in the world arena. Despite my economic differences with Paul I was inspired by Iowa where Ron Paul dared to say on Iran, “Let's offer friendship to them” and after other politicians forgot issue, called to “End the economic boycott and start talking to Cuba”.

I love what Obama claims to believe in, and I think really does, but the first thing Obama wants to do is compromise. Think of how different things would be if the President started compromising with Ron Paul instead of the Newt Gingrich 's, Romney's and Sarah Palin's.

Personally since Jimmy Carter or Gore aren't on the horizon to try to become President again, I'll probably vote for Obama, but think of the difference if in both parties both competing candidates were looking for solutions not sound bits.

[To me it's sad that third parties members have yet to learn how to become swing voters for Obama to try to woe. Republicans other than Paul just want progressive people to be confused or stay home. After a Ron Paul vs Obama race everyone would be more educated and alert on the real issues no matter who won.]

Paul by all accounts was once a compassionate medical doctor who longs for the return of the public hospitals were the poor knew they belonged. Not feeling out of place made them heal better, the warmth of hospice care with most of the facilities of today's cold hospital complexes. People could grill Ron Paul on where the money would come from, to reestablish public hospitals. What about public money to cheaply reestablish the country's bus system rather than the super fast trains Obama is inspired to want. Ron Paul likes Bush's first years in office with a less involved foreign policy. Bush started off subsidizing the church soup kitchens and aid programs even tried to get Muslim religious groups involved, before he ended up letting the Vice President make the decisions.

Ron Paul could be confronted with a mother that if she didn't get someone else to pay for an abortion she and her remaining kids would go hungry more often, and would sometimes have to leave the older kids to take care of the younger ones if she would loose her only part time job if she missed work again. If she owned a home she and her other kids wouldn't if she didn't abort a child who would be in the need of round the clock medical care.

If she could get public funded abortions due to economic necessity, pro-life groups instead of crying at her at the clinic gate could come up with the medical insurance for the sick future child, or lobby for free day care to prevent a economic necessitated abortion.

Maybe a publicity funded bus system and my other suggestions wouldn't help much. But it would be exciting for both the Republican and Democratic nominees to start finding solutions rather than fighting with soundbites.

Ron Paul and President Obama just running against each other would partly solve the Social Security Medicaid short fall as thousands of retirees flocked to low crime Cuba for retirement and public hospital health care. Ending blockades would slightly improve US credit ratings without any other change.

The truth of the matter is every economic bail out means a windfall for the rich. And any strong tax will lead to capital flight to the less taxed parts of the world as the huge corporations hire in parts of the world with starvation wages and dangerously poor working conditions. Maybe the US and Europe could get together and outlaw capital flight maybe not. But if it's Obama vs Ron Paul, real hope will be in the air instead of people closing their eyes and expecting that when they open them again, disappointed that Obama didn't solve there problems like they trusting he would.

was built by an urban survivalist which in some ways I also am. I have hundreds of plastic jugs filled with water and acted like Santa Clause when the water was shut of and lots of old cans and dried products that I unfortunately have been too lazy to rotate, so maybe I'm not as much of a survivalist as I think I am. I avoid buying Clorox because unscented bleach is needed if the water gets microbes. Boiled raw peanuts have the same healthy chemical that red wine and expensive resveratrol concentrates do. A slice of line in a water bottle will keep the bacteria out, even if the water bottle is filled a couple of times without adding in more slices of lime. On a cold night Occupy Philly residents appreciate a shopping cart filled with a cooling chest and glass bottles filled with hot tea,

I also keep suggesting that the cities empty lot program be planted, instead of with grass, with potatoes to prepare for famine that I expected was going to happen before the Arab Spring and Occupy Wall Street proved people can get together when things get worse instead of just fighting over religion, immigration and race,

To bring my points all together, if the cities succeed at preventing the Occupy Movement from being a 24 hour occupation getting the less educated homeless, and desperately in debt college graduates from learning survival skills together it will be bad news for us all, with the exception of only some of the 1 percent,
