The New York Times Endorses Donald Trump for President

The Yankees who fought in the American Revolution to break away from their British masters suffered from “ideological rigidity,” and a failure to explain ahead of time and in detail exactly how they were going to accomplish their mad schemes, so I’m really not sure we should have ever gone along with that crap in the first place.  In fact, I wish we hadn’t.  Can we roll the film backwards please?  And start from the beginning.  Might I suggest Amy Klobuchar be appointed to arrange a meeting with the British to discuss the possibility of dipping some teabags into Boston Harbor?  Of course the date and time of such a bold and potentially revolutionary demonstration would be subjects for discussion and agreement.  The British I assume will want to have troops present to ensure that nothing occurs to alarm anyone or suggest to anyone that teabags dipping into the harbor are anything out of the ordinary or could lead to anything really wild like universal healthcare.  Naturally, the British will want in their hands ahead of the demonstration the number of Yankees proposed to participate, and this number may be reduced according to agreement in discussion between the bipartisan Amy Klobuchar, known for her “Midwestern charisma, grit and sticktoitiveness,” and the British, who understandably will also want to know that no Yankee who participates in the tea bag dipping will have his or her face obscured to prevent identification in case it later becomes necessary to round some of them up for hanging. your social media marketing partner
