Revoke and Replace: As Our Democracy Crumbles the Obvious Solution is a Republican Recall

As the wheels fall off the Presidential clown cart, let’s not forget the names of the Republicans in Congress who grabbed onto that cart for all the marbles under the questionable advice of their leadership back in the late summer of 2016, when the current meltdown could have been foreseen and corrected, were it not for their short-sighted desire to secure the White House at any and all costs to American security, sanity and moral standing in the world.

True to form, the GOP, after the resounding defeat by Trump in the Republican Primary, chose to squeeze itself into the already crumbling interior of The Donald’s Clown Mobile in order to put itself into position to repeal and replace Obamacare, and to finally defeat a Clinton. True to form they put Party before Country, and true to form, they put the concerns of their largest contributors, the Oligarchs and Billionaire Class, over and above that of its constituents.

True to form, Mitch McConnell and his faithful, led the party into the Presidential Election, knowing full well the implications and allegations of Pro-Trump Russian interference in our election, and decided to ignore the damaging consequences, again, at all costs.

Yes, as the wheels fall off, let us not forget how we got here. Let us not forget that the Republican Party committed treason in its bid for the Executive Office, by selling off America’s right to free and fair elections.

Let us not forget their complicity in the deadly Clown Show that is unfolding before the eyes of the world. Let us not forget their nonchalance in the matter, and their outright negligence. Let us not forget that we are dealing with criminals who set out to undermine the American people in the name of corporate profits and corporate welfare. Let us not forget that since regaining the White House and cementing their majority in Congress, the GOP has not pushed forward a single proposal that would benefit ordinary Americans. Instead, their actions resoundingly follow the wish-lists of their donor base, to which the GOP is recklessly beholden.

How many times do we have to have our fingers slammed in the car door before we decide to take a different ride? In any other sane country the Republican Party would have lost their license to operate by now. What is taking us so long?
