The Democratic Party and the effective leadership of Barack Obama, 44th President of the United States saved the United States from having a Second Great Depression.

Bush Jr failed to effectively regulate the financial industry, which caused a real estate bubble and a financial crisis that hurt Americans. People working in Wall Street made record salaries and bonuses in 2007 and the same in 2008, record salaries and bonuses in 2009, and Wall Street is on track to bring home record salaries and bonuses in 2010 ($144B to be taken). Wall Street “Gordon Gekko” types have reason to Vote Republican. Do you?

Vote Republican if you like your tax dollars transferred to Corporations and the Military-Industrial Complex. Defense budget in 2000: $282B. Defense budget in 2009: $698B -- Department of Defense $515B, plus War on Terror $145B, plus Homeland Security $38B. This $698B does not include Wars in Iraq and Afghanistan which are special appropriations not listed in the budget and cost over One Thousand Billion Dollars to date. Do you feel safer for the extra $400 Billion Dollars spent Per Year? The Republican Party of Fear—The Smoking Gun, The Mushroom Cloud. Bush Jr often said during the 2000 presidential campaign: “America Must Prepare for War” and “I want to be a Wartime President”. Bush Jr delivered on those campaign promises, and us taxpayers got the bill and got killed. “Weapons of Mass Destruction” – a total fabrication, a lie.

In 1968, representatives of Republican candidate Richard Nixon convinced South Vietnam not to make peace, promising better terms after Nixon wins the White House. Bush Sr, without Reagan’s approval, cut a deal with Iran to supply weapons if the hostages were not freed until after the 1980 presidential election. These actions by Republicans to influence US Foreign Policy violate the Constitution. Only the President can make “treaties” with foreign governments. The Republicans lied to the American People regarding Iraq and Afghanistan. Obama voted against invading Iraq. Obama ended US military combat involvement in Iraq. If you like war, Vote Republican.

The Republican Party of No. The Republican Party of Liars. The Republican Party of Trashing the US Constitution. The Republican Party of Two Unnecessary Wars. The Republican Party of The Great Recession (George Bush Jr) and The Great Depression (Harding and Coolidge).

The economy is on the mend, thanks to President Barack Obama and the Democrats. Sure, unemployment is still high. Companies that laid people off are just starting to rehire. State and Local governments are still laying people off. Many recent college graduates are jobless. This unemployment is the legacy of Republican President George Bush Jr.

Don’t get misled by “the polls” and the unrelenting Obama bashing by the “mainstream media” like Fox News and right wing extremists. The Republicans led the USA into a Financial Crisis. Obama stabilized the financial industry, and put the USA on the road to Renewed Prosperity. Obama healthcare is an improvement--at least the insurance companies cannot cancel your coverage when you get ill, claiming that you had "a preexisting condition". The Democratic Party of the New Deal promotes social progress and wholesome living for All Americans.

The economy is on the mend—US companies are reporting profits, sales growth, and plans to hire more Americans. Look at the stock market, which is almost back to pre-financial crisis levels. If you want a government that serves All Americans, Vote Democratic! If you want a government that tells the truth, Vote Democratic!
