Who are they? They are the people who don't look like us and voted to elect Barack Obama in 2008. They stole our country from its rightful owners and we are going to take it back from them. How will we do that? We will stir up fear and hatred increasing what divides us. We will whip our supporters into a frenzy while we make voting harder for our opponents. This is the Romney and GOP strategy.

Unfortunately for team Romney, luck is on the other side. Barack Obama has had good fortune on his side for his entire life. And it does not hurt that his campaign team is far better than the Romney team. Romney has assembled a team of relative amateurs while the Obama team is a team of seasoned professionals who guided Barack to a seat in the US Senate, an upset win over Hillary and then to victory over John McCain. That is a winning record that cannot be denied.


47% explained
The above pie chart is one way to view the 53% and the 47%. The 47% is composed mostly of the elderly and the working poor. Mitt would have you believe that they are welfare recipients, illegal aliens, drug dealers and users, criminals of all sorts, people of color and just plain lazy people. On the contrary, the 47% is composed of people just like those in 53%. The only difference between the two groups is that the 53% have a little more income. If Mitt and the GOP truly want to reduce the 47% and increase the number of people who pay Federal income tax, they can work to raise incomes across the board and stop exporting American jobs to China.
