How your news is manipulated by FOX

heinous. Disgusting. How could this be permitted? Where is the FCC in this?

During the protests in Washington DC, FOX news cameras caught protestors chanting, "We won't stop! We can't stop! Until killer cops are in cell blocks!"

Not wanting to represent the protests accurately, and in a blatant effort to paint these folks as potential threats to the lives of law enforcement, the station (under orders?) edited the audio track. What then came out of the protestors' mouths was not a call for "killer cops" to be jailed, but was morphed to sound like, "We won't stop! We can't stop! So kill a cop!"

Clever edit, boys.

And you may have gotten away with it, save for one protestor who protested mightily your misrepresentation. Even then, FOX tried to backpedal. The FoX affiliate posted this on their FB page:

"Although last night’s report reflected an honest misunderstanding of what the protesters were saying, we apologize for the error," the post read.

An honest misunderstanding? I'd laugh if it weren't so sad.
This was NOT a misunderstanding. This was a deliberate edit of raw audio, and the edit was specifically designed to demonize the protest and those who participated.
