"Deplorables" Revisited

I do not accept the common wisdom that coinage of the political term "deplorables" was boneheaded. This label was and continues to be apt description of one third of the country. It was a bit ahead of its time-- that's all. History will come to affirm its truth.
I similarly do not think that all the formulas that resulted in Donald Trump's 2016 win will repeat themselves in 2020 . All the criticism of Trump, just as in the case of George W. Bush, helped elect him. Later-- much later-- the populace came to realize just how stupid Bush's and Cheney's murderous Iraq war was. "Americans always come to best conclusion and do the right thing after they have tried everything else." Whether Winston Churchill or somebody else said it, that is by now in slighly differing variables an old saw.
So, there isn't time for shilly-shallying by the House. We need to bring out the full extent of Trump's deplorable behavior in impeachment hearings right now-- the only way the bottom third of Americans can possibly begin to understand it in time for the 2020 election. We may otherwise face four extra years of Trump or the death of democracy and more, whichever comes first.
