According to a statement by the group the Plaintiffs Against the Fukishima Power plant, who filed a lawsuit Monday accusing Tokyo Electric Power Company and government officials of negligence in the disaster: “The Fukushima nuclear accident is the worst corporate crime in Japan’s history and caused significant damage to the life, health and assets of the people of Fukushima and the rest of Japan.”
