The Community of One is not a religion.

It is not a faith, no more than knowing the times table is a faith.

It is knowledge that we all posses but have keep hidden beneath our egos.

We know and accept the reality of gravity.

Gravity is a manifestation of the Universal Attractive Force of the universe in the atomic dimension in which we presently exist.

There is another manifestation of this Universal Attractive Force of which we are aware.

It does not dwell in the physical/atomic universe but we are all in it’s thrall. It is known to us by many names, the most common being Love but it also is known to express itself to us as beauty, empathy, want and desire. These “feelings” are the way we react to the Universal Attractive Force in our lives.

Our many problems created by these “feelings” are caused by our injecting our ego into them.

By injecting our ego into these powerful forces we separate ourselves from the natural Universal Attractive Forces. We personalize these “feelings” and try and make them ours. We also, at times, try and shape the atomic dimension in which we live to accommodate these “feelings”.

Out of these “feelings” we find the creation of all the evils we see here in this atomic dimension.

Avarice, hate, greed and lust and all their variations.

Now you know . . . What can we do about it?

First of all we must acknowledge the reality of the Attractive Force in the universe.

That’s not hard to do because it’s so obvious.

Next we must become aware of the influence that our ego has had in our reaction to the Attractive Force in our lives. Most of us have conditioned our responses to the Attractive Force by adopting the accepted value system in our culture. However because our “feelings” have been thwarted by this conditioning we react in our lives and to those we Love, in ways that may not be compatible with the Universal Force.

When the human species evolved into consciousness we attributed the input of our senses to have a reality which we made up as we experienced our interactions with the nuclear universe in which we exist. We mixed these experiences with imagined causes/effects and beliefs that we were fed by those who nurtured us and more importantly, by our culture and religion. We needed to have the illusion of control of our environment as much as possible. We were fearful of the unpredictability of the nuclear universe and the desires of others. We felt that the development of a strong ego gave us an advantage over others. We were, and still are, attracted to strong egos. They give us the illusion of control.

We are going in the wrong direction with this belief. Our egos separate us from one another.

It is an artificial separation. Ego is an illusion.

To prove this I ask you to reflect on the following.

What was one of the first things that your parents did after you were born?

They gave you a name. This is the anchor of ego.

Around this anchor those who nurtured you and taught you and you yourself built up a history of experiences that shaped everything from your perception of yourself to your expectations, desires, perceived needs. They are “feelings”. They are not real but because they are “feelings” we must deal with them on a daily basis as long as we accept the illusion of our ego.

We are a manifestation of the Attractive Force in the universe, we are of It.vWe must leave our egos at the door when we come into the Community of One.

In this community we seek and share Love.
