Capitalism As (Play) Performance Vs Communism as (Play) Experience

Last time I was in China it was 1985, and Northwest Orient Airlines
had a policy where flight attendants were required to collect any and all western reading materials because back then, all western reading material was considered to have a potentially negative impact on the Chinese people. There are still remnants of this policy in China in 2013, namely the facebook, youtube, etc., internet firewall, etc. Virtual Private Networks (VPN) pierce this firewall.

The Chinese people seem to be much more cooperative, than competitive,
compared to westerners, though this may be changing. The Chinese children seem so blissfully playful, compared to the American Honey Boo's, who are, IMHO, consumed by ego and drama before they are 5 years of age. Even when the Chinese are adolescents, and even though they are so academically disciplined, they seem to retain their
spirit of cooperation, perhaps because of having that almost absolutely playful young child, toddler, etc., experience that they can build upon. It appears that when the impressionable, formative years are shielded, protected, etc., from the negative, viral, etc., aspects of ego and drama, cooperation, instead of (or even in addition to) ambition can emerge, be maintained and enhanced.

In the US and in most other capitalistic, mostly western nations, it appears, (well it is just my beginning of a theory) that ego and drama are encouraged to replace the cooperative spirit that enables almost absolute playfulness. The result is, or may be that in capitalist nations, youthful, almost absolute limitless "play" experience becomes relative, limited "play" performance.

Proof of this may be seen in the terminology of words like "play dates", etc. We are, and have been, indoctrinating western children
with performance anxiety, and are habituating them to a future life where the focus is on performance, externals, like appearance, etc., instead of on experience.

It is little wonder, to me at least, that ambition alone is empty,
because it is based on external qualities of money, fame, and power. And ambition alone is relative (relative performance)
and as a result, ambition unmediated by cooperation is
unsatisfying due to a performance nature as opposed to an experience nature, and unmediated ambition is always in need of a "FIX" of distraction (violence, drugs, alcohol, etc.) Cooperation, on the other hand, can be closer to meaning in itself, namely an
experience, as opposed to a performance, especially when cooperation,
perhaps via playfulness, humor, etc., transcends ego and drama.

I am trying to transend both ambition and cooperation, performance
and experience, even ego and drama, by trying to "play" universally with my "self". I try to do this in alternative stand up comedy,
and by teaching, writing, etc. I guess you could say I am trying to treanscend communication itself!
