This Is What's at Stake in the Next Election

olks, this is what's at stake in the next election. Last week, Senator Lindsey Graham admitted that Trump and Republicans in Congress plan to completely repeal the Affordable Care Act in 2021. If the law is repealed an estimated 20 million Americans would lose coverage -- many of whom live in states that voted for Trump.

Here's the bottom-line: For nearly a decade, Republicans in Congress have pledged to repeal the Affordable Care Act, but have yet to offer any alternative that would ensure health care for the American people. Their only goal has always been to boost the profits of insurance companies. What do you think?

The Republican Party, for at least the past 40 years, has been a destructive force in America. The notion that Don T. will be allowed to run for re-election is a profound illustration of what now passes for normalcy.

The Democrats have stepped on me, taxed me more, lied to me, called me names, and demand I give up my rights

Anybody who gives up on democracy and becomes a Trumpzi deserves that and worse, even though most of it is lies.

we have a republic, not "a democracy" Sorry johnesche, ignorance is not bliss; and a democracy is a dictatorship of the majority. Slavery, any one?

Depressionborn, you are still depressing! Your Republican bias is showing. Also, your lack of critical thinking skills. All in all, very depressing.

Yes, Dong, things are bad-and likely worse is coming. Be careful what you wish for.

Of course the 2020 election is about healthcare. But guess what. Sanders will repeal the Affordable Healthcare Act and replace it with Medicare for All. Repeal and Replace. Reich is just not thinking. The ACA is broken. It had a design flaw in that it turned the government into brokers for the for-profit health insurance companies. Now those companies are milking the government dry. The ACA needs to go and then be replaced with Medicare for All -- with no for-profit companies sucking the federal treasury dry.

Medicare for All RR,? Why not good low cost catastrophic insurance as an option? Why should the young be stuck with the bill for the rest of us?
