Nobody Will Ever Believe the Official Story on Epstein

By Charles Pierce, Esquire

10 August 19

Jeffrey Epstein was found dead in his jail cell Saturday morning.

bsolutely nobody is going to believe any official story that comes out about this. From The New York Times:

Mr. Epstein hung himself and his body was found this morning at roughly 7:30. Manhattan federal prosecutors last month charged Mr. Epstein, 66, with sex trafficking of girls as young as 14, and details of his behavior have been emerging for years.

How in the hell do they let this happen? The guy was incarcerated in the Manhattan Correctional Center. He already had made one try. He had to be on suicide watch. And the suicide happens the day after a massive document dump in which a woman who said she was one of Epstein's victims implicates an entire brigade of celebrity "clients," up to an including some European royalty? There almost can't be a dog more reluctant to hunt than this one.

A whole bunch of Somebodies need to get fired behind this. Beyond it, of course, a thousand conspiracy theories will now bloom across all the Intertoobz. The other people involved have to be nervous. Ghislaine Maxwell, Epstein's alleged accomplice who has yet to be charged, has to be looking over her shoulder. Is she looking over her shoulder to see if the FBI is back there, or to see if something darker is closing in? This country is losing what's left of its mind.

Couldn't agree more with that last sentence. This is a attempt to cover up some very disturbing information about people in very high places. How do you think Epstein basically (a handful of months in jail with work release) beat the rap 10 years ago? Our society is corrupt to its core.

This is about protecting the rich men who are implicated by the doc dump--

In some ways, this assassination of Epstein by the Deep State is just as significant as their demolition of the Twin Towers and the assassinations of Kennedy and King, to those of us who know the truth of these matters.

Architects & Engineers for 9/11 Truth don't seem to be giving up on challenging the orthodox narrative for the 9/11 attacks. They have convinced the Franklin Square Fire Commissioners (overseeing a New York volunteer group of firefighters) to pass a resolution calling for a new, fact-based investigation of the attacks.

It is in our best interest to remain skeptical of all government narratives that could in any way be used to pursue corrupt agendas. These false narratives have been used to promote active American military engagement in Vietnam, Afghanistan, and Iraq and to impede progress of the Civil Rights Movement. They remain powerful tools in the hands of those whose objective is to maintain political control, regardless of the cost to others in loss of prosperity, security, liberty, or life.

". . . remain skeptical of all government narratives that could in any way be used to pursue corrupt agendas."

Wouldn't that be virtually ALL government narratives today?
+3 # 2019-08-10 22:50
Absolutely. The first thing I thought of was Lee Harvey Oswald’s staged killing by Ruby. Just as impossible to swallow. ( ( know I’m showing my age!)
+12 # Marc Ash 2019-08-12 08:11
For the record, there is absolutely - NO EVIDENCE - that anyone entered Jeffrey Epstein's cell and harmed him. NONE.

This is the way suicides happen in jail. Better supervision might have kept him alive longer but if determined he would eventually find a way.

We haven't seen any credible evidence of foul play.
+1 # Kiwikid 2019-08-13 01:42
Unfortunately Marc you live among a people addicted to conspiracy theories - about just about everything. Add to this the other great current passion of Americans - polarisation, and on all sides they'll find overwhelming evidence to blame the other, or the government.

Marc Ash:

Yeah, but tell that to vast majority of those posting their Deep State conspiracy theories.

I’m surprised your post is rated, as of now, +8.

Absence of evidence is not evidence of absence. That said, what we know for certain is that Epstein is dead, and that there were a lot of people who would have wanted him dead once he was in jail, including himself.

However, as poet Charles Bukowski puts it, 'sometimes things are just what they seem to be".

So, what does this affair seem to you to be? There's the rub: Clearly it seems to be one way to some people and the other way to other people.

There's probably enough to take down our government. Suicide my ass.

We should be so lucky. But it's already "HUGE" and getting bigger, so let's watch closely and watch our hats and coats.

Don't the Times editors know that "hung" is for the laundry or John Holmes? For someone dangling by the neck, the correct word is: "hanged."

What Do All These People Have In Common?

Jeffrey Epstein “Suicide”
0 # lorenbliss 2019-08-10 23:01
Why is anarchteacher getting undeserved thumbs down for posting two links that reveal the horrific magnitude of the USian Empire's murderousness, as relentless at home as it is abroad.

Indeed the only name missing from Rockwell's litany of victims is Karen Silkwood, slain for her Working Class activism in 1974.

Alright already!! Take him out and batten the hatches! You gotta know that there is a huge story being kept hostage to protect the powerful. I don't believe he killed himself for a minute. He had to die to protect the biggies behind the trafficking. He was just another pawn, and expendable too.
+29 # Citizen Mike 2019-08-10 18:55
I usually criticize Pierce's writing but that is short and nice and well-said. And I agree, we are approaching Crazy Day when more than 50 percent of us have flipped out.

How convenient! How timely! Will we ever know the names of the many beneficiareis of Epstein's conveyor belt of underage girls? I wonder what was the cause of Donald Trump's having had a "falling out" with Epstein? Didnt get his fair share?
+4 # PABLO DIABLO 2019-08-10 19:48
You didn't cite a single reason to believe the story.
+31 # margpark 2019-08-10 19:49
While for sure Epstein would commit suicide before being thrown in jail with ordinary miscreants who would be very unkind to him, there is no excuse whatever for removing him from a suicide watch. So powerful people prevailed.
+28 # giraffee23 2019-08-10 19:52
How do we know if he IS DEAD? When DOJ said "investigate" this -- my first thought was (and is) why is US DOJ screaming... so I just don't think this guy is really gone.

There are videos of his body being carried out BUT I don't know if his face can be seen. That is a far-out conspiracy though...
+18 # 4angels4 2019-08-10 19:57
How will we know he's really dead? What if it's all been staged, so he could go live on some unknown island for the rest of his days? He's got enough connections (including Trump) and money to pull it off.
+12 # chapdrum 2019-08-10 20:09
Whether we will ever believe it or not, it will not matter. The truth will not be divulged (as "indianweaving" points out above).
"[We] want the truth."
"[We] can't handle the truth."
Or are indifferent to it.
+49 # yolo 2019-08-10 20:17
Why should we believe the "official" story? Besides presidents, prime ministers, princes, distinguished law professors, and famous Hollywood personalities what other "officials" are in Epstein's book? We will ever find out, because the people with the real power will insure we don't. Does anyone remember Deborah Jeane Palfrey aka the DC madam? I wonder whose names she had in her book before she committed suicide?
+4 # HarryP 2019-08-10 23:18

The names in Palfrey’s book are sealed (except for a couple whose identities were already known.)

If this follows the Palfrey precedent, then the book on Epstein will be closed. The plaintiffs will get some money, but the names will not be revealed.
+3 # Rodion Raskolnikov 2019-08-12 18:18
Jeffrey Epstein's address book has been published on line for more than a year. Here it is.

It is 92 pages long. It is heavily redacted by the court but still many names show. Be careful -- not everyone in his book is guilty or even a suspect in anything.

The FBI found "a trove" of videos on CD in Spstein's house. Most likely these are films he took of people having sex with children. That is the trove which needs to be made public. Let's see who is on the video.
+7 # Rodion Raskolnikov 2019-08-11 06:21
yolo -- I remember the DC madam well. I live in DC. There have been a whole string of such people who were the pimps for powerful politicians in Washington. Roy Cohn, who was Epstein's mentor, was one of these and actually ran a gay pimp service out of the white house when Reagan lived there. It was a big story for one week -- that is, until the FBI took it over and promised a full explanation. Then it disappeared.

Epstein's replacement in pimping for the rich and powerful has already been installed and is hard at work providing the services Epstein, Cohn, and Maxwell provided.

If anyone is a reader of de Sade, you know why the oligarchs always do this. He gave his name to the practice -- "sexual sadism." The whole institution of government is designed to protect and promote what these people do.
+3 # Salus Populi 2019-08-11 08:28

At last, something the alt-Reicht sTrumpistas and the sqWall Street/Deep state can agree about and celebrate together! Clinton, Drumpf, Prince Andrew, and on and on: Epstein never cared about political divides; pedophiles of each and every political persuasion were all welcome to his pre-pubertal port of call[-children] . As in Phillip Roth's fictional Trick E. Dixon, the perps will be lining up to take credit for the assassination.

So last week the FBI released a report connecting belief in conspiracy theories to mass shootings. The FBI will now be following people who don't believe the "official" or the "prevailing" explanations of events in the present or the past. Pierce has just placed himself on the FBI's watch list.

But I'm with Pierce on this. I don't believe the "official" explanation of the JFK murders, the MLK murder, the RFK murder, 9-11, Russiagate, and a whole lot more. Our "officials" are in the cover up business. Mueller is only the latest "cover boy." Maybe they can drag him out of the retirement home to run the Pedogage investigation.

We will know a lot of what Epstein was in to. There are good investigators out there. The 9-11 Truth movement was really good. It is just not the "official" story.

So far, Whitney Webb's work on Epstein is the best. Here are three articles. Part 4 will be published on mintpressnews.c om next week.

Your flat out lying about the FBI Report.
It has nothing to do with “conspiracy theories” or going after people who reject the “‘prevailing’ explanations of events.” It doesn’t even use the words “conspiracy” of “prevailing.”

It’s a summary of mass shootings between 2002-2013.

Have you no shame?

From the report:

“The FBI assesses these conspiracy theories very likely will emerge, spread, and evolve in the modern information marketplace, occasionally driving both groups and individual extremists to carry out criminal or violent acts,”

What report did YOU read?
+2 # Rodion Raskolnikov 2019-08-12 18:32
HP -- I believe you are thinking of a report different from the one I referred to. I was referring to this report --

"Anti-Government, Identity-based and fringe Conspiracy theories Very Likely Motivate Some Exstremists to Commit Criminal and Sometimes Violent Activity."

The report I referenced mention mass shootings or terrorist acts as sometimes the work of people obsessed with conspiracy theories.

The word conspiracy is all through the report. Prevailing is used to name official narratives or the ones believed by prevailing opinions.

For the record, I never lie. I may be mistaken of have fault information and I always appreciate being corrected and better informed. But I never lie --- much unlike the people on MSNBC you admire so much, who are liars by nature, training, and by profession. That is, as professionals they are paid to lie.

The real question is whether or not MSNBC has any shame. But why bother asking. We know its hosts and presenters do not.

Rodion & dbrize:

I did look at something different.

But the FBI report Rodion had in mind does not say that that the FBI will now follow people who do not accept “official “ or “prevailing explanations.” It merely says that conspiracy theorists are “at odds with official or prevailing explanations.”

Forgive me, Rodion, for saying that you lie, but you sure have a way of making unsubstantiated comments.

As for dbrize, the sentence you cite is an assessment in how conspiracy theories travel. It has nothing to do with the FBI going after people who reject official explanations.

When Steve Bannon came up with "FAKE NEWS", I said, "How long will it be before we don't believe anything?" I guess we are there. Of course he committed suicide. Why would he want to spend the rest of his life eating shitty food, living in an 8 by 12 room, and being someones "bitch".

Why was he not on Suicide Watch? He had been. It was removed. On whose orders, and on what basis?

But even if he did kill himself, who gave the order NOT to put him on suicide watch? This thing stinks like an open sewer.
+2 # Wally Jasper 2019-08-13 11:49
What's interesting is how indignant and appalled AG Barr is about Epstein's death (compare with zero words of outrage for El Paso massacre). Trump's vicious guard dog wants to know all the details; he wants the truth (!) and he'll set the record straight. He came barreling out of the gate on the offensive just as the news was announced. Hmmmm. Very interesting.
0 # Wally Jasper 2019-08-13 22:40
Everyone is debating whether it was a suicide or if he was killed (inside job no doubt). But how do we really know he is actually dead? He was a billionaire with many many high placed friends all over the world, many of whom likely still crave his pedophile pimp services. It does not strain credibility to imagine that he was removed and whisked off to some idyllic island mansion perhaps. (Maybe even on Air Force 1.) You may call it another conspiracy theory, and of course it is since we don't know the facts, but it seems entirely plausible to me. And AG Barr's outrage over the prison's ineptitude is actually a great cover.
