ast year, the five largest drug companies in America made nearly $60 billion in profits, while the top 5 pharmaceutical industry CEOs made over $113 million in total compensation in 2017. Meanwhile, one in five American adults can't afford the medication they need and the cost of insulin for Type 1 diabetics nearly doubled from 2012 to 2016.

Over and over again, President Trump has said that he was going to stop the pharmaceutical companies from “getting away with murder.” Well, now is his chance. Mr. President, if you are serious about lowering prescription drug costs in this country support my legislation and get your Republican colleagues onboard.
