Higher Prices and More Fraud in Health Care
27 November 18
atch your wallets. The Trump administration has asked health-care providers whether rules against kickbacks (barring, for example, drug companies from giving kickbacks to pharmacies in return for recommending their drugs to patients) should be relaxed in order to “better coordinate” care.
Baloney. If anyone was really interested in better coordinating care at lower prices they’d support Medicare for all or another single-payer system. Relaxing kickback rules means higher prices and more fraud.
