Excerpt: "An FBI raid on the Madison home of a former top Walker aide - who served him both during his term as Milwaukee County executive and as governor - may signal big trouble for the governor and might also diminish his 'I'm-on-a-mission-from-God' zealotry."

A note of caution regarding our comment sections:

For months a stream of media reports have warned of coordinated propaganda efforts targeting political websites based in the U.S., particularly in the run-up to the 2016 presidential election.

We too were alarmed at the patterns we were, and still are, seeing. It is clear that the provocateurs are far more savvy, disciplined, and purposeful than anything we have ever experienced before.

It is also clear that we still have elements of the same activity in our article discussion forums at this time.

We have hosted and encouraged reader expression since the turn of the century. The comments of our readers are the most vibrant, best-used interactive feature at Reader Supported News. Accordingly, we are strongly resistant to interrupting those services.

It is, however, important to note that in all likelihood hardened operatives are attempting to shape the dialog our community seeks to engage in.

Adapt and overcome.

If the FBI actually follows through on this stuff and brings illegal skullduggery to light, they may get a few redeeming points from me (so what do they care?) but it would be comforting to know that they are actually after some criminals instead of potecting them.
Perhaps they have something to lose if Walker and his ilk get too much power?!
Who knows? This is definitely worth pursuing closely.

We need to go after every far right thug and hold them accountable.

Especially worrisome are the right's attempts to prevent people from voting.

I hope this story gets wider coverage. I just looked for it on yahoo and google news and did not see it but this is the second story i've read about it here on RSN. Is it being covered by the mainstream media?

This is delicious, that scum Walker is probably going to be undone by his own greed, using staffers to work on his campaign.

And then he uses his incompetence, in bankrupting the state to beat the hard working people over the head...... HIS INCOMPETENCE HE USES AGAINST THEM.

That is rich indeed. I am going to pray hard, that he gets nailed.

If somebody ever needed to end in jail it is Walker,
But why has the lamestream media.... as Sarah calls them...not picked up on this story???

One think that these religious nuts have in common, is ignorance and greed... they see nothing wrong in their being corrupt, because after all they are doing gods work...sadly they actually believe it...

The comment regarding "Fitzwalkerstan " brings to mind a link where two reporters in Russia studied the t people. There impression is that the U.S. is turning into a Russian style oligarchy.
This is very interesting. Please take time to watch it.

Hopefully this is a raid to see who is really runnning the state capitol? I can only hope the Koch brothers have their computer prints all over this thing. It's nice to see the Police & FBI working to save this country, maybe? Hopefully this information continues to make it to the front page & doesn't get lost in a wharehouse somewhere, on a military base.
