"I want to thank the doctors, nurses, and staff at the Desert Springs Hospital Medical Center for the excellent care that they provided. After two and a half days in the hospital, I feel great, and after taking a short time off, I look forward to getting back to work," Sanders wrote on Twitter.
In another statement, Sen. Sanders said he'll be back on the campaign trail soon, but in the meantime his supporters should "keep the political revolution going".
Friday evening, Sen. Sanders and his wife Jane spoke directly to Bernie's supporters in a video expressing their gratitude for all the "love and warm wishes" they've received.
