ep. Keith Ellison rolled out a list of 35 endorsements Friday in his bid to be elected chairman of the Democratic National Committee.

Ellison, who already has been endorsed by Sens. Bernie Sanders, Chuck Schumer, and Elizabeth Warren, added roughly a dozen more members of Congress to his list of supporters, including Rep. Elijah Cummings, Rep. Maxine Waters, Sen. Tammy Baldwin and Sen.-elect Tammy Duckworth. The Minnesota congressman also has support from the United Steelworkers and the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers.

According to spokesman Brett Morrow, Ellison was scheduled to meet Friday with DNC national committee members in California.

"Keith is the right leader at the right time," said Rep. Joe Crowley, another endorser Ellison unveiled Friday, in a statement. "We're at a critical juncture — and we're facing unprecedented challenges. Keith has a vision for where we need to go, and how we can get there. Keith is not a 100% kind of leader, but a 200% kind of leader. He puts his heart and soul into every position, task, and opportunity and there's no question he'll continue to do just that as both a member of the House and as DNC Chair."
