I was chilled by this story, heart-broken by this father's grief and infuriated by the scum called Blackwater.
May those monsters rot in hell.

vignetting and colorization have no place in a news report. Please don't turn the truth in a made for tv movie.

Blackwater and mercenaries like them need to be reigned in. They cannot be allowed to operate above the law.

i urge you to see the movie Avatar. Blackwater and their mentality is front and center in this movie. It is very distrubing to see the place corporations have in a fictional movie and so closely related to Blackwater. We must stop this violence,we as a nation must stop the insanity. The story must be retold until Blackwater stops getting rich on our tax dollars in the name of protecting the USA from terror.

i remember our American invasion of Baghdad, the Iraqi people welcoming our arrival and our protecting only the Oil Ministry buildings with tanks and guards while all else, even the Museum of Ancient History of all Civilization of Mankind is left unprotected, thus looted. It was monstrous. What happened to Allawi, his family, betrays their and our own trust of our nation- Our intent, must be atoned for with full Judicial Responsibility of Blackwater:Xe- our shame. Please. Or we are lost in this War for Oil. Evidently, this rapacious company is untouchable, as only their accountability will do. I do not understand how our State Department can employ them anymore in any way. Thank you.

When is someone going to confront the president about Blackwater? Has any journalist ever brought this up at a news conference?

The result of the law suit against Blackwater Raven 23 will determine if America truely has a functional democracy. If there are no prosecutions, the US is clearly a facist terrorist state with enough money to make it look like something else. If there are prosecutions, the US still has a lot of work to do to live up to the standards of a true democracy. This is a painful and tragic story.
