Obama's Presidential Victory Speech

We are concerned about a recent drift towards vitriol in the RSN Reader comments section. There is a fine line between moderation and censorship. No one likes a harsh or confrontational forum atmosphere. At the same time everyone wants to be able to express themselves freely. We'll start by encouraging good judgment. If that doesn't work we'll have to ramp up the moderation.

General guidelines: Avoid personal attacks on other forum members; Avoid remarks that are ethnically derogatory; Do not advocate violence, or any illegal activity.

Remember that making the world better begins with responsible action.

This speech was pretty tepid. OK, except in light of his speech 4 years earlier it was the same ambiguous lines, spoken a bit louder. I don't know what to think about Obama, I want to hope for the best, but prepare for the worst, because I don't think he is any freer or more Progressive now than he was 4 years ago.

Throughout this speech I found myself watching the lady in the lower left of the screen, whose enthusiasm and smile made me smile. Don't know who she is but she is very contagious in her smile and energy.

The reason why the speech was almost the same as the one he gave in 2008, is because he was RE-ITERATING for the half of America that didnt hear him the first time.

Its like a boxer that says; "I float like a butterfly, and sting like a bee, and will knock you out if you mess with me".

You fight him and he knocks you out...

Then... while standing over you, shaking his gloved fist at you... he says it again and says it louder...

"I float like a butterfly, and sting like a bee, and will knock you out if you mess with me!"

That's what President Obama did; "We are not as divided as our politics suggests, We are more than just a collection of red states and blue states!"
