There can not be a three party system. It has to be either two party system, or a four or more multiparty system.

The “I Ain't Gonna Take It No More Vote” overwhelmed Britain, the Philippines and Austria where both the Greens and right-wingers kicked the established parties out of the first round. As soon as the press starts talking about the possibility of a deadlocked Electoral College like it did when Ross Perot was running, some of the, almost suicidal, Trump voters will start considering Gary Johnson and Jill Stein.

The Greens and Libertarians must debates each other, and in every other office they both contest, affirming that both candidates must get double digits fir a multiparty system to take hold.

Portland Maine has Green local elected Office Holders and Maine splits its Electoral Votes. So does Nebraska whose Governor is voting for Gary. Gary was Governor of New Mexico and may get at least double digits there Jill did quite well back when she was running for Governor of New Hampshire, New Hampshire is rich in Electoral Votes.

If Gary and Jill would debate each other other and try to demand both the Libertarian and Green Parties be allowed in the Presidential debates then the two party system would start to be really challenged.
