In a recent article < http://readersupportednews.org/opinion2/277-75/35985-focus-bernie-sanders-qwe-are-on-a-path-toward-victoryq > one of RSN’s reporters stated “Wisconsin’s demographics bode well for Sanders, who has enjoyed his strongest wins in states with a low percentage of minorities and lopsided support for him among young voters.”
Last Saturday’s results decisively refuted that canard!
Data from RSN state that Sanders beat Clinton 71% to 29% in Hawaii: that’s 2.4:1. Data from the US Census Bureau reveal that in 2014 < http://www.census.gov/quickfacts/table/PST045215/15 > “white alone” accounted for 23.0% of the population.

Data from RSN state that Sanders beat Clinton 82% to 18% in Alaska: that’s 4.6:1. Data from the US Census Bureau reveal that in 2014 < http://www.census.gov/quickfacts/table/PST045215/02 > “white alone” accounted for 61.9 % of the population.

Data from RSN state that Sanders beat Clinton 72% to 27% in Washington: that’s 2.7:1. Data from the US Census Bureau reveal that in 2014 < http://www.census.gov/quickfacts/table/PST045215/53 > “white alone” accounted for 70.4 % of the population.

Seems to me that we should consider the possibility that our electorate has finally started to “feel the Bern”.

William F. Pickard, older ‘n’ dirt, is a retiree (from Washington University in Saint Louis) who specializes in energy matters. He’s pretty much clueless as to how the crises confronting America might be surmounted. But at least he has had the good grace not to stand for public office.
