Ukraine and Ukrainian people have always deemed Europe and Germany as friends and partners based on aspirational values of democracy and freedom, and for these very convictions Ukrainians have paid a heavy price with their blood and lives on Maidan and they continue to do so now.

So where are yours, Chancellor Merkel, real actions to stop this war, this bloodshed and this Russian agression? Where is your leadership and your priorities on this?

Since events on Maidan, Ukraine did not have time to catch a breath and is constantly under attack from Russia: first its seized and annexed Crimea, and now a current war in the Eastern region. On a crisis scale of 1-10, we're already at 10 and moving fast past this umber, but all that is heard from Germany and Europe (Old Europe, one may add) is "concern", "very concerned" and "we are disturbed".

Mrs Merkel, you're the de facto leader and president of Europe. You are the single most powerful politician in Europe. And Vladimir Putin with his Russian government know it all too well. That's why you must stop using empty words "concerned" and "disturbed", and you must act. Real actions are what is needed now to stop this war, not empty words.

Ukraine is the most dangerous and serious crisis that Europe has faced since the disintegration of Yugoslavia and the wars that scarred and changed the continent in 1990s. Germany is Europe's dominant power, and you, Mrs Merkel, you're the one in the driver's seat.

Vladimir Putin is a player who perfecly understands what power means, and he knows better than almost any current world leader how to use it. Currently his arrogant and dangerous war game in Ukraine exposes Europe, Germany and European leaders as impotent and spineless at best, and corrupt and collaborative in financial and war crimes at worst.

There are ongoing conversations and discussions everywhere: from Ukraine to Azerbaijan and Russia, and from Poland, Lithuania to Canada and the United States, how Europe and Germany had sold its soul for Russian gas and other finacial benefits.

Chancellor Merkel, show the world that this is not true, that Europe and Germany are not Judas of the modern times! Help Europe and Germany find its moral compass in this escalating crisis! Be on the right side of history!

40 million Ukrainians and the rest of the world are watching carefully. It is time for you to use some of the power that comes with being THE leader of free Europe to act as leader, with moral authority, and stop Putin and Russian agression in Ukraine.

Wether you realize it or not, the fate of Europe and other Western democracies are strongly intertwined with Ukraine in the common fight against agression, international terrorism and national extremism. Ukrainians have always viewed Europe as a role model, objective and fair, that can defend and support democratic values. Europe should take a strong and moral stand against Russia, with real actions to support Ukraine and not help perpetuate this war by empty words and inaction.

Germany, France and most of Old Europe's stance and behavior with regards to Russian war (yes, it is real WAR) and terror against Ukraine is not only morally unjust and politically myopic, but it undermines the trust and confidence of Ukraine and people around the the world in Europe and Germany.

As the leading country in the European Union, Germany in particular has the tremendous responsibility to intervene and stop Russia and its deadly and dangerous actions against Ukraine.

This is the call to action!
