Recent shootings have convinced most Americans that we need extra gun control laws. Even many NRA members agree that we need to keep firearms away from the mentally ill who may use them for unprovoked, violent acts. But how do we define those people who are a potential danger?
Here’s a suggested list of mentally ill people who should be prevented from owning firearms.

People who think Obama is a Muslim…
Or people who think Obama is both a communist and a Nazi…
Or people who think unions were good once but aren’t needed anymore…
Or people who think the poor don’t pay enough in taxes…
Or people who think rich people who inherited great wealth are ‘job creators’…
Or people who don’t believe that climate change is caused by human activity…
Or people who think Jesus is scheduled to return in their lifetime…
Or people who think god punishes abortions by sending us natural disasters…
Or people who think Ronald Reagan was the greatest president…
Or people who think John Wayne knew how to act…
Or people who think Dennis Miller is funny…
Or people who think Chuck Norris is someone you should listen to…
Or people who think Ted Nugent has talent…
Or Ted Nugent…
Or people who think a McDonalds salad is good for you…
Or people who think gay marriage means you’ll be able to marry your dog…
Or people who think a fetus is as important as a starving child…
Or people who think that marijuana is evil…
Or people who think the US State Department is part of a vast, socialist conspiracy…
Or people who think the Holocaust was overblown…
Or people who think Israel is a peace-loving nation…
Or people who think the United States is a peace loving nation…
Or people who think Iraq had anything to do with 9/11…
Or people who think the movie Red Dawn was a documentary…
Or people who think there’s a job waiting for every unemployed person…
Or people who think alternative energy is a conspiracy…
Or people who think teachers’ pay is too high but that CEOs deserve their outrageous income…
Or people who think we need one more aircraft carrier, fighter jet or nuclear missile…
Or people who think race isn’t an issue anymore because Obama was elected president…
Or people who think the United Nations is planning to invade us…
Or people who think dinosaurs ate cavemen…
Or people who think cavemen ate dinosaurs…
Or people who think a woman’s reproductive system magically shuts down when raped…
Or people who think the Second Amendment means they should be able to buy artillery…
Or people who think the NRA is more concerned with our rights than with gun makers’ profits…
