Mitt's not qualified

We have elected unqualified presidents before. Most have served one term and then been forgotten. Some, such as George W. Bush have served two terms. Mitt Romney could probably serve one term adequately in less demanding times. However, we need more than that in our president in these demanding times. We need a qualified president to defend us abroad and revive the economy at home. We have an accumulation of problems that have been neglected and allowed to fester. Our democracy is weakened by the rapid disappearance of the middle class.
Mitt Romney is probably a good man. He is a husband, parent and member of his church. He probably broke no laws at Bain or on his taxes, but those laws need to be changed. We cannot afford to take a chance with Mitt when we already have a good man in the White House. We must not try to change horses in midstream.

We are concerned about a recent drift towards vitriol in the RSN Reader comments section. There is a fine line between moderation and censorship. No one likes a harsh or confrontational forum atmosphere. At the same time everyone wants to be able to express themselves freely. We'll start by encouraging good judgment. If that doesn't work we'll have to ramp up the moderation.
General guidelines: Avoid personal attacks on other forum members; Avoid remarks that are ethnically derogatory; Do not advocate violence, or any illegal activity.
Remember that making the world better begins with responsible action.

To let Mitt come in and start trying to learn the political details of all of what's going on is like taking a seasoned employee with four years of experience dealing with coworkers, other staff, subordinates, consultants, specialists, advisories, and customers and replacing them in the middle of an important project with a fill-in from a temp agency.
It won't work. Now is not the time go fiddling around with something started, progressing in spite of the obstructionists , and on an albeit wobbly still path to recovery.
We don't have time for someone who needs to get up to speed with the office politics let alone all of the facets of the job, not to mention the most important project currently under way.
I don't care if he has been a CEO, he doesn't know THIS job and there isn't time to train in a new hire. Plus, he refuses to comply with the job requirements and submit all of his reference papers.
How do we trust a new hire to take over a senior position in the middle of things when they won't even tell us the details of who they are or how they would proceed on the project?
No. Not now.
By Hecht's standards, we already have a good person in the White House; so why change horses in mid-stream he asks.
Is such commentary the best that reader supported news can offer? Of course, I do not fit Hecht's requirements: I am not married, have no children, not a member of my church - I don't have a church, and I would break the law gladly if by so doing I could surely bring a quick end to U.S. imperialism. What nonsense! Where are the editors of RSN?
Both candidates are of poor character; both lie; both have no concern for the less fortunate. Obama is already a war criminal. Romney just can't wait to become one. A bleak future!
