A Very British/Jewish Conspiracy?

Over the years, conspiracy theories have abounded, inciting interest, entertainment (In some cases for me anyway.), and sometimes a naïve and/or rather extreme belief for ANY story, rumor and hearsay to be “the truth” and in turn to believe it wholeheartedly. I do think certain conspiracy theories have merit. I’m convinced, e.g., that the JFK assassination was a conspiracy, primarily calling it an “inside job.” There are enough loose ends, desperate denials, poorly explained details, and that once in a while the U.S. media and other status quo source feels it has to remind the U.S. public, and being hell-bent about it, that it’s “O.K.” The Warren Commission conclusion was “right” in naming Lee Harvey Oswald the lone killer.

I remember checking out Newsweek one day years ago where it published a cover story entitled, “The JFK Assassination: Finally Resolved.” Initially it sounded good. I was tempted to think that perhaps new evidence was found to contradict the Oswald conclusion. But I became disappointed again with the media. The title and the content looked contradictory (relating to my initial impression). There were the old reassurances in yet another attempt to persuade the public that Oswald was the guy.

But there are of course conspiracy theories that are simply too far-fetched to take seriously. Among the more well-known are the theories of Lyndon LaRouche, where the alleged conspirators are highly unlikely to be allies, and accusations against certain individuals/entities that simply cannot be proven; and thus proving instead that the accuser makes him/herself look very foolish. I researched a “doozey” of a theory from Larouche that applies: Britain is THE cause of all “evil” in the world, being a “great totalitarian empire” playing THE “secret” role of troublemaker. But LaRouche put in an added extra that makes his theory more “sexy”: A Jewish conspiracy is connected to the British version.

LaRouche started out his political career as a Trotskyist in the 1960s promoting Marxism. (Wohlforth and Tourish, “On the Edge: Political Cults Right and Left,” 2000. From Wikipedia: “Views of…” etc.) Tim Wohlforth, a former comrade from a faction within the Socialist Workers Party, and which eventually split from it, wrote that, “LaRouche writings and agitation in the late ‘60s and early ‘70s was presented in an increasingly frenetic manner, bolstered by predictions of economic doom. LaRouche was a crisis-monger of the highest order. [He] and his followers became convinced that the fate of the world rested with their group and great leader.” (Wohlforth, “A 60s Socialist Takes a Hard Right,” Political Research Associates. Retrieved 2009. Wikipedia.)

Regarding his theories, Daniel Pipes said that LaRouche associates “all of his adversaries with the forces of darkness.” (Pipes, “Conspiracy: How the Paranoid Style Flourishes…,” 1999. Wikipedia.) LaRouche’s British/Jewish conspiracy is perhaps the prime example. Citing the “Anglo-Dutch Liberal system,” LaRouche called it a “financial slime mold.” (Vasilyev, “Attacks in India Staged by Britain,” 4/26/2006. Wikipedia.) Dennis King, one of LaRouche’s most vociferous critics, wrote that LaRouche has always been anti-British, accusing, e.g., its royal family with controlling the world through the political economy and the international drug trade. (King, “Lyndon LaRouche and the New American Fascism,” 1989.)

His followers have tried to back up his “evil Britain” theory with three books: “Dope, Inc.,” by Goldman, Kalimtgis and Steinberg, 1978. It details Britain’s historical “control” over narcotics trafficking, starting with the Opium War against China, specifically blaming the City of London’s financial elite. “The Civil War and the American System,” by Salisbury, 1979, claiming that Britain imposed itself on the U.S. Civil War. (The book entitled, “A World on Fire,” by Amanda Foreman, 2007 [?], shows NO imposition. Britain declared itself neutral, parliament hotly debated the issue-thus no lockstep agreement-and Britons were only involved as correspondents and mainly as forcibly-recruited soldiers.) “The New Dark Ages Conspiracy,” by C. White, 1980. It’s claimed here that British intellectuals wanted to control scientific progress to keep the rest of the world backward and thus to more easily control it. (All three books in Wikipedia, “Views of…,” etc.)

LaRouche’s theories over the years contributed to his reputation of being a “walking punch line”; and more to the point with his British/Jewish one. He’s gone further in demonizing the British: “[The Brits] are fat, sloppy and dumb. Their dietary habits stink, their conditions of life stink. But the Brits are an imperial system. They are a parasitic nation…” (LPACTV, “Credit vs. Monetary Systems,” 4/28/2009. From LaRouche Planet.) And he went on: “…all the evidence is clear. The most powerful force on this planet, politically and financially, is the British empire.” He added that Britain is controlled by a “British Privy Council.” (“The Comet of Doom,” Schiller Institute, 12/14/1997. LaRouche Planet.)

And LaRouche has stretched his theory even further, claiming that the British are trying to destroy the U.S. “from within” through “its agents, the Jewish/Zionist lobby.” The main culprit in this vein has been Henry Kissinger (He does deserve condemnation.), with LaRouche’s use of the term, “treacherous Jew.” And on and on: In “Dope, Inc.”, the title is aka, “Britain’s Opium War Against the U.S.,” where LaRouche claims that the Queen of England conspired with her “allies” the “Jewish/Zionist lobby,” to push drugs in to the U.S.. He concludes, “This is a calculated form of political warfare against the USA by the British monarchy.” (LaRouche Planet.)

And, yes, he goes even further, as if crawling out on a thin tree limb: “The first, and most important fact to be recognized concerning the Hitler regime, is that Adolph Hitler was put into power in Germany on orders from London. The documentation of this matter is abundant and conclusive.” (“Humboldt vs. Hitler,” The Campaigner, 8/1978. LaRouche Planet.) LaRouche has consistently harped on this “truth.” He claims, “…Nazism was not a German creation,” but the result of “factional forces in the Allied Powers of Versailles” placing “top British agent Wilhelm Canaris in charge” to assure “Hitler’s appointment to the Chancellery.” (“The German Constitutional State and Terrorism,” The Campaigner, 2/1978. LaRouche Planet.)

And, yes, he doesn’t stop there. LaRouche claimed that the “British Royal Family, and the “German oligarchical families” tied to it, “is the epitome of pure evil. If you want to have Satan, he’s wearing the British Union Jerk.” (Webcast, 1/30/2010. LaRouche Planet.) And no, it doesn’t end there: His conspiracy rant includes calling the British a “pack of animals,” “a different, alien species,” and even, with the aristocracy at least, “homosexual.” (“The Zoo Called the House of Lords,” New Solidarity, 12/29/1978. LaRouche Planet.)

With LaRouche’s claim of a “British-backed” Hitler, one would never think Jews would be conspirators in this part of his theory. Sure enough, they are, being in the form of a “Nazi Jewish lobby and other British agents…” (“Urgent Project to Refine Our Forecasting Method,” Executive Intelligence Review, 7/23/2010.) LaRouche Planet.)

But LaRouche even goes further (Yeah, it’s gotten beyond the point of being more than a "punchline."), “revealing” yet more “conspirators.” Besides calling Jews “Babylonian agents,” and the Queen of England as “boss” of a “Black Guelfs oligarchy” and the “Whore of Babylon,” he’s included the following: Prince Philip, the Rothschilds, the Beatles (As a “product” of British Psychological Warfare, controlled by British intelligence [Tavistock].), “British pawn” Hitler, the Rockefellers, “British liberal democracy,” the USSR, Venice, Italy, “Libya’s psychotic Colonel Khadafy,” the “Episcopagan Church,” influencing “Catholic, Protestant, and Eastern denominations;” with Venice, Khadafy and the “Episcopagan” Church controlling the Council of Foreign Relations and the “psychological and assassination arm[s] of the London Tavistock Institute.” (“A LaRouche Sampler,” Political Research Associates, by Chip Berlet, Rob Warden and staff.) And just when you think it’s impossible for this to go on, yes, there’s even more: The FBI (Sounds semi-credible, but according to King, LaRouche may have associated with it, along with the CIA.), the Symbionese Liberation Army (SLA) and the Jones Temple cult (implying they’re creations of U.S. air Force Intelligence and Office of Naval Intelligence), the World Wildlife Fund, the Club of Rome, the Freemasons, and I believe the Illuminati. (‘A LaRouche Sampler,” PRA.).

As I found out about the ever-increasing number of “culprits,” I figured LaRouche may just as well include the rest of whole world, concluding he’s alright, the whole world’s all wrong.

Dennis King, a veteran LaRouche investigator, has also quoted LaRouche saying: “Judaism isn’t a true religion, but a sub-species of Christianity. (Didn’t Judaism come before Christianity, and is thus the root of it?); “The B’nai B’rith resurrects the tradition of the Jews who demanded the crucifixion of Jesus Christ”; “The sophistry which the Zionist demagogue offers to all foolish enough to be impressed with such hoaxes as the ‘holocaust’ thesis.” (LaRouche thinks about 1.5 million Jews died, and only from the Nazi policy of “labor-intensive, appropriate technology.” (“The Anti-Semitism of the LaRouche Movement,” by King.) Lyndon LaRouche Watch.) To top off this whole article, I’ll add a quote from LaRouche by Dennis King which shows, not surprisingly, “a bit” of hypocrisy, and showing why King refers to him as a fascist: “It is not necessary to wear brown shirts to be a fascist…it is not necessary to call oneself a fascist. It is simply necessary to be one!”

Putting it mildly, I’ve provided more than enough of the inner workings of this LaRouche theory. It goes without saying, except if saying it to LaRouche, “Paranoia will destroy ya.”
