Defeating the GOP

Let me share my thoughts as they came to me this afternoon:
Hurricane Isaac has already wrecked Romney’s inauguration plans in Tampa. It will likely also steal most of the GOP’s well planned Republican National Convention media thunder for the duration of the event. It will intensify in its way across the globally warmed water of the gulf, heading straight for New Orleans and the location of the landfall of beginning of the end of the Bush Era, Katrina. This set of conditions could not have been better invented by Stephen King. It almost looks like God is casting a vote against the GOP for the fall elections.
Science if they believed in it would help the GOP understand why conditions are not good for them, climate wise these days. But hmm – science, logic, undeniable evidence all seem to fall flat with this bunch. However, wait a minute, the superstitious and the religious right CAN be swayed. All it takes is the right woo woo.
I suppose it would cost a half million or so to have a super PAC manufacture a video with a Baptist Minister explaining the reasons for God’s curse against the GOP. In my mind the Democrats should save their money. How could the GOP miss the fact that GOD is speaking to them through Isaac?
