Uncle Sam is continuing it's attack against peaceful people. This time it's Los Angeles, a city that knows hardship as well as great wealth all too well. Last night, the police raided the Occupy LA camp with an overwhelming display of force.

A good friend of mine was present at the time of the raid, and she related it to me personally: "i got roughed up by lapd last night, and the city turned into a fucking police state.
there is no more freedom here...it was very methodical, like a machine. they closed down all the freeway exits to downtown and blocked out a mile around city hall. they brought in 1500 police in full riot gear in metro buses which the occupation did successfully block but they just made their formations and ran while pushing and swinging with their batons but the police lines were broken..."

12/1/2011 Update:

My friend elaborated on the media's treatment of the event, stating:

"the media coverage is lying, the police and the mayor are lying to them and controlling what they say and what they release as footage. occupy raid videos are being "removed" from you tube..."

She also elaborated on their methods, stating:
"they were arresting people in the park for not leaving but they were arresting the group in the street and on the sidewalk. everywhere we moved the police called an unlawful assembly and arrested people. the park was unlawful, the street was, then the sidewalk and eventually they had arrest on site notices for everyone behind police lines"

She related all of this as she was on her way to court, as she explained:
"i'm going to the arraignment now. this is a misdemeanor offense and they are still holding an 80 year old woman named Ruth. This is so unacceptable I don't even have words..."

When I asked her if there were any signs of a Federal agency, she said "Homeland security, their white vans are everywhere..."

The Homeland Security bureaucracy is shrouded in mystery; with their elites taking their eyes off of terrorism and onto Americans' first amendment rights, who knows what is in store for us next.
