MEN make up the majority of lawmakers. MEN have a NO idea of what it's like to be pregnant or to be pregnant when you don't want to have a child, can't afford financially to care for one - or not be mentally able to do so.

MEN have no idea what it's like to be RAPED and find yourself pregnant or to be a VICTIM of INCEST and find yourself pregnant with your father's, brother's, uncle's or cousin's child.

MEN don't have the foggiest notion of what's it like to be pregnant, of the physical and mental strain it might put on a woman who DOES NOT WANT TO BE PREGNANT!

Many of these laws are meant to demean women and take away all decisions that women make about their reproductive health care.

These laws are modern-day subjugation, making women baby slaves!

I have 3 words for all lawmakers and any MAN who thinks that a woman should not be entitled to birth control of any kind -or- should bear every child she finds herself with:

IT'S NOBODY'S BUSINESS!

It is NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS, Mr. Delegate, Mr. Congressman or Mr. Senator!

It is NO BUSINESS of ANY BRANCH OF GOVERNMENT.

To any fundamentalist, evangelical, radical RIGHT WING CONSERVATIVE RELIGIOUS GROUPS intent on pushing their version of religious doctrine on the rest of the state or country: it is NONE of your business, either!

These laws are an OUTRAGE and an INSULT TO WOMEN EVERYWHERE!

It should be a CRIME for ANY MEN to make laws regarding women's reproductive rights!

In fact, this entire "issue" is a non-issue because it deals with medical decisions a woman makes with her physician: a private, confidential matter. This is a woman's right to choose healthcre decisions by herself, not having the government looking over her shoulder!

It is not an expression of "religious freedom" as claimed by some uber-religious rightwing Bible thumpers! If anything, it is a violation of separation of church and state ~and~ the religious freedom OF the woman herself.

IT'S NOBODY'S BUSINESS!
