Young artist, Camille Jean Verdelaire de la Rosa is to open her exhibit at the Center for Performing Arts of De La Salle Santiago Zobel School in Muntinlupa City, for the benefit of DLSZ Visual Arts Programs and the St. John Marie Vianney Foundation, come June 19, 4:00 PM, Manila Time.

Titled “Metamorphosis,” the exhibit will feature 100 of the best paintings of the former child and theater actress—a culmination of 11 years in the art industry, a press statement from the Sparks Museum read.

During her early years, de la Rosa is known for her garden and still-life motiff, then shifted in 2005 to surrealism and fantasy art. Her recent works, as critics described it, are “oozing with mystical and esoteric symbolisms.”

An award-winning painting, her Virgin of the Rose had won second place at the 2009 Pagalingang Pinay Art Competition sponsored by the galleries in Reposo, Makati.

Prior this, she has also garnered accolades from the Art Association of the Philippines and Philippine Art Award.
