When we laugh at politically incorrect or "dark humor" we are criticized for it. This is because SERIOUSNESS has replaced laughter. We are all OPPRESSED by seriousness.and we all have laughter and spontanaiety repression!

Perhaps we begin to lose our spontanaiety as soon as we are born, because almost at birth we are subjected to repression. First thing that is done is that we are clothed upon birth. Talk about repression!

After medical repression of some degree of swaddling, we get family repression of our spontanaiety by other rituals: the shock of the (usually cold) water of baptism, christening. Next, there can be the legitimized cannibalism of circumcision, that is "justified" as a cleanliness ritual.

What we need in order to limitlessly laugh is freedom from the repression that IS the family. I started to regain my own lost sense of humor when I began to question my "black sheep" status in my family.

I was and still am considered an enemy, a "communist", a "terrorist", even, by the family "patriarch", my older brother, Frank. For instance, my Dad died suddenly, back in 1981. He had given me his checkbook for safekeeping a few days before he died. When my older brother, Frank, found out from my Mom about this, he demanded I give him my deceased father's checkbook.

I had deposited the checkbook in a safe deposit box, but Frank frightened me so much that I gave it to him. Thus, Frank became like the FAMILY PRESIDENT, an unelected dictator. He named himself the virtual "PRESIDENT", congress, etc., and the embodiment of the " TODISH FAMILY CONSTITUTION".

As the head of the Todish family he represented a kind of laughterless, unimaginative, consciouslessness, soulessneess, where family tradition, custom, ritual, etc. ruled. It was DICTATOR Frank's way or the high-way!

He was essentially the FAMILY"S symbolical status quo. He had become the SERIOUSNESS, the LAUGHLESSNESS, the anti spontaneity of the FAMILY! From when my Dad died up til now, Frank and his seriousness has become the TODISH VIRTUAL CONSTITUTION or the base or matrix for what is the TODISH LEGAL/EXTRA LEGAL SYSTEM! It is a system that "OUTLAWS" laughter embraces only seriousness!

Perhaps all families produce a similar kind of anti spontanaiety, or laughterless Family "law". Maybe such anti-spontanaiety is a precursor to all of what is known as common law, and perhaps even what we ARROGANTLY call "natural law". So maybe one way to undo repression, wherever the repression, oppression, supression, etc., started from, is by finding humor, even if it IS dark humor, in EVERYTHING!

The problem may be that in order to regain, or even first experience our SPONTANEOUS sense of humor, we all may need to EXTRICATE ourselves FROM the SERIOUSNESS of family (and or even from the "FAMILY" of man?) in order to become free enough to demand our own NATURAL "LAW" OF FREEDOM FROM SERIOUSNESS. Then we might all be able to make our own constitution that is limitleesly free from all seriousness: especially the seriousness with which we take tradition, custom, ritual, family, or society, or even law itself!

Imagine if we all created our own unique limitless legal system? This, especially if it allowed for limitless laughter, would certainly be an antidote to repression, etc. Limitless humor that can be freed by using IMAGINATION and CONSCIOUSNESS, SOUL, SPIRIT, etc. may be the way to limitless love as well.

Perhaps we have all replaced our limiless laughter, and our limitless spontanaety, our limitless IMAGINATION, etc., with all the SERIOUSNESS involved in traditions,ritual, customs. For instance Frank takes his Chrismas so seriously that the tinsel had to be perfect (Merry XMAS, Frank! lol) Rituals, anal or otherwize, may need to be seen for the laughterless deadness that they are. Customs, and even family itself, along with political, racial, gender, ethnic, relious, etc., IDENTITIES, may need to be seen as THE ENEMY of spontaneous, limitless laughter!.

Anyone with ANY spontaneous, especially dark humor-imagination, humor-consciousness, etc., today is considered a kind of comedy "terrorist", perhaps because with humorous imagination, especially the politically incorrect or all the dark humor genres etc., you can SUBVERT the SERIOUSNESS, i.e., the consuming and the consumption that is EXPECTED of everyone.

When we conform to society and civilizations' SERIOUSNESS EXPECTATIONS, we PERFORM these expectations. We are then conforming to a kind of seriousness that is an EXTERNAL, PARTIAL PERFORMANCE OF LIFE.

Instead with limitless laughter imagination consciousness (soul, spirit, etc.,) you can BE your spontaneous freedom from seriousness experience, instead of PERFORM your seriousness life experiences. This limitless laughter EXPERIENCING subverts the technological virtualty of having serious material existence. Of course we all need the basics in order to even be subversive in the first place, but even if we take our basic needs too seriously, instead of ever HAVING our basic needs, even our basic needs may take and have US!

Being subversive through limitless laughter imagination, etc., threatens all of civilization, because it implies the reality that when we limit our laughter, instead of HAVING serious civilization at all, serious CIVILIZATION HAS US!

Perhaps we can all best SUBVERT SERIOUS CIVILIZATION by going on a SLEEP STRIKE, because we are ALL so exhausted by the absence of humor and the presence of the seriousness and the bullying (symbolical to actual violence) needs to be responded to with humor goes on in the world, that we NEED to be renewed.

In other words, We may ALL be so EXHAUSTED due to taking ourselves and our lives too seriously. Often, instead of even believing we ARE exhausted, we may blame ourselves for our tiredness, instead of placing the blame where it belongs, namely the root cause of our exhaustion: the repression involved in mistaking being serious, i.e., being CIVILIZED AND REPRESSED, for life itself!
