Hello world

In a world of self absorbency I have dwindled down til I have become but a speak of dust waiting to be sweep-ed away. I long to find purpose. I long to feel any small accomplishment. I don't want to continue being a waste of space. Just sitting around sucking up oxygen. I feel a need to vent all that I have absorbed. All that I have felt and tasted. Every thing I have seen through my eyes and tucked in my heart. I want to give something back. Some insight into why I hide from a world I once relished being part of. And in doing so hopefully I will become part of humanity again. And possibly contribute to a path of PEACE and HARMONY for all.

We are concerned about a recent drift towards vitriol in the RSN Reader comments section. There is a fine line between moderation and censorship. No one likes a harsh or confrontational forum atmosphere. At the same time everyone wants to be able to express themselves freely. We'll start by encouraging good judgment. If that doesn't work we'll have to ramp up the moderation.
General guidelines: Avoid personal attacks on other forum members; Avoid remarks that are ethnically derogatory; Do not advocate violence, or any illegal activity.
Remember that making the world better begins with responsible action.

I read what you wrote and it's been on my mind all day. I'm struggling with depression at the moment and the best I can offer are disjointed bits and pieces of thoughts. Last month I might have penned a tome for the ages. Damn timing!

One of my favorite quotes is: "Where your talents and the needs of the world intersect lies your calling." No idea who said it.
Are you familiar with a blog titled "The Bloggess"? Highly amusing and insightful. The author suffers from depression and is as straightforward about it as can be. Best quote: "Depression LIES"! I say, "Amen!" because that is the TRUTH!
I'm sorry that it took 30+ views before you got a response. It's obvious that you're feeling uncomfortable and that makes others uncomfortable because they're afraid to say something wrong.
Sweet dreams, Sister. I'm going to bed.
