Top Ten Signs You Might Be a Nazi Loser
07 August 12
- If you regularly pose proudly in front of a swastika flag, you might be a Nazi loser.
- If you refer to "non-whites"as the "dirt people,"you might be a Nazi loser.
- If you are the lead singer in a bad racist punk band, you might be a Nazi loser.
- If your response to the possible election of a black president is "stand and fight,"you might be a Nazi loser.
- If your racist schlock punk album is titled "Violent Victory"and shows a "white arm punching a black man in the face,"you might be a Nazi loser.
- If you are a recruiter at barbecues for the Hammerskins, you might be a Nazi loser.
- If your online handle is "Jack Boot,"you might be a Nazi loser.
- If you perform constantly at racial-extremist punk "concerts"you might be a Nazi loser.
- When the other hardcore racists say of you "please do not think we are all like that,"you might be a Nazi loser.
- When you hate to death innocent men and women because their skin color or dress or religion is different from yours, you might be a Nazi loser.
So that's easy. Three harder questions:
- Should we really be selling guns so freely to known Nazi losers and to crazy people being reported as unstable by their psychiatrists?
- Why is Pamela Geller, the leader of the campaign against the Manhattan Muslim community center, hanging around with Swedish Nazi losers?
- Given the actual dangers of the far right in the US and Europe, shouldn't Likudniks be ashamed of themselves for a) calling people who merely object to the creeping colonization of the West Bank 'anti-Semites"or bigots and b) welcoming to Israel far right speakers who say things like 'the Qur'an is the new Mein Kampf' and who insincerely profess a new-found love of Israel?

We are concerned about a recent drift towards vitriol in the RSN Reader comments section. There is a fine line between moderation and censorship. No one likes a harsh or confrontational forum atmosphere. At the same time everyone wants to be able to express themselves freely. We'll start by encouraging good judgment. If that doesn't work we'll have to ramp up the moderation.
General guidelines: Avoid personal attacks on other forum members; Avoid remarks that are ethnically derogatory; Do not advocate violence, or any illegal activity.
Remember that making the world better begins with responsible action.

Too bad RSN can't forego the "informed comment" and just run reader remarks.
This is a very thought provoking piece. If you lived in let say Arizona you would see it all around you.
Take a look at the AZ lawmakers and the laws they've pasted in the last few years. You know they have good old sheriff Joe to enforce them.
This is reality at it finest.
Yep..... they have more GUNS here than most states.
And needless to say, Romney is clearly a fascist. In fact, today's GOP is our fascist party, through and through.
Perleeze; get some facts in yer noggin'.
The basic TENET (note spelling -a "tenant" is a property renter) of Fascism is Corporate Control for the benefit of the CORPORATE STATE and it's heavily-finance d military-indust rial enforcers, including a large secret police, militarized domestic police force, semi-tolerated militia and practically unlimited war budget at the expense of the grassroots, who must be controlled at all costs, including suppression of free-thinking, creativity, free press and media, exclusion and brutalization of gays, oddballs and free spirits, with everything from architecture to music and art being force-fed as an extension of the visions of the non-creative and blinkered-excep t-for-power masters.
Sound familiar yet?
Look it up under Benito Mussolini, who gave the term life and meaning, Hitler, Franco, Stroessner, Suharto, the Dulles bro's and their successors, the Koch Bro's, the Carl Linder family, Mellon-Scaife, Coors, Waltons and so many more, the Bush dynasty and their patsies who carry it on to this day.
Before you declaim or imagine you can define, try to understand that on which you are remarking and give it historical context.
No argument from me there; I was just skimming the surface to put this much-misused and so lightly flung around term in perspective.
And as a personal note: I do not understand the criticism of punk. I played in a punk band when I was a kid. We were anarchists and completely to the left, not to the right! And we were not the only ones. Most punk groups in the UK were absolutely completely opposed to any Nazism or racism or whatever insanity.
You been listening to Fox or reading to many pieces of right wing garbage. Hitler's Mein Kampf is in no way based on the Quran. It is the rantings of another Nazi loser who happened to have been Catholic. I am not a Muslim, not Catholic or any other religion.
Wrong on two counts; 'Mein Kampf' has no connection to the Quran, and middle-eastern political antisemitism (in its current guise as "antizionism") is not so much based on the Quran as on on Nazi European political antisemitism, the power and use of which Grand Mufti of Jerusalem Haj Amin al-Husseini learned during his alliance with the Nazis during WWII against their joint enemy the British.
If you read Marx, Lenin and Stalin it
is clear that they are not at all the same (and though, I am not now nor have I ever been a Leninist, Lenin is far closer to Marx than Stalin). Where exactly in Lenin does he talk about (or after the revolution implements) transferring the wealth of the Russian 1% to "His" 1%. And, since socialism is by definition "workers control of the means of production" name one US "social(list)" program?
As for the Founding Fathers leading the attack...well, at least I know that Tom Paine would be on my/our side and i would consider it a badge of honor to be attacked by a bunch of white male property/slave owners whose idea of democracy was that only people like themselves i.e., white men with property should be included in the body politic
is in some ways close to the Founders.
Some of them have admitted to me in private that they espouse returning to slavery and taking votes away from women. Yup. And the "Oath Keepers" who the Tpusses
show their video every meeting is a traitorous seditionary organization... encouraging, like the US Naziis in WW2, officers and cops to refuse to follow ORDERS...ie, moving between the chain of command...serio us treachery.
If the DOJ had any cojones you'd ALL be safe behind bars. Who knows...althoug h Koch has bought and paid for SCOTUS, when Obama gets his second term, maybe some of you ought to do some serious hard time...and maybe he'll be emboldened to make that happen.
For people like the Kochs themselves, well, dealing with an enemy country like Iran seems to me to fit the Constitutional requirement...: "aiding and abetting and giving comfort and aid to the enemy..." Bang. Ask me to vote on all you guys fate...indeed, I have pre-judged you, and against the evils you representI am quite happy to be totally prejudiced. I'm ready to stick a fork in all of you, because YOU'RE DONE.
If that makes sense to you, you may be a Tea Partier.
The inability of many folks to follow that particular leap of logic led the rest of those who objected to the preferential treatment of monied interests to form of the Occupy movement.

Juan Cole you inspired the choir but did nothing to persuade those who even partly disagree with your point.
Chumps.
I lost one uncle in WW2, and my Dad's family has been here a LONG time. Yankees! I understand...be cause Mom's people were from Mississippi, although they got out of that pesthole in the 20's. Mom turned me on to Louis Armstrong, and her family had good sense and a love for all humanity.
Nazis? that swastika, the confederate flag, and carrying a gun just tell me ONE thing: each is a sign that says the same thing...KICK VERY...HARD. You do NOT yell,"Fire," in a crowded theater.
To paraphrase SCOTUS Justice Stewart's famous 1964 comment about porn: "I can't define it, but I know it when I see it". If we look, and if we possess the fundamental intelligence and conscience to truly "see", we know the basic glue that has held together this disparate culture: shared American values, public ethics, the English language, social consciousness and justice, the art of compromise, due process under the law, one man/one vote, civil rights, the common interest--these often ephemeral but rock-solid principles have been seriously eroded, along with our bridges and roads and crumbling infrastructure.
Meanwhile far too many of us can't find sustainable work, gorge ourselves on poison junk food, overdose on TV trash or sports escape, ignore our kids while they text, tweet and eat who-knows-what, and gradually descend into a third-world pit of apathy and financial despair. We kling to the shared delusion of American exceptionalism, as if we'd just won WWII.
As a nation, we are in deep trouble.
About as much as those who oppose fascism should be ashamed of themselves for calling people who merely feel that there is bad behavior on both sides of the Israel/Palestin e conflict "Zionazis".
What organizations, sugar-daddies or groups feed them money, promote their hatred, provide general support for these nutcases?
That would be a very interesting read.
