Intro: "Michele Bachmann's husband Marcus, a Christian counselor who's also her strategist, has a clear record of anti-gay positions - he's referred to gays as 'barbarians.' But does that extremism slow down - or accelerate - Bachmann's head-turning overdrive? Keith and Politico's Ken Vogel take a closer look at the man who could be America's 'First Fellow.'"

We are concerned about a recent drift towards vitriol in the RSN Reader comments section. There is a fine line between moderation and censorship. No one likes a harsh or confrontational forum atmosphere. At the same time everyone wants to be able to express themselves freely. We'll start by encouraging good judgment. If that doesn't work we'll have to ramp up the moderation.
General guidelines: Avoid personal attacks on other forum members; Avoid remarks that are ethnically derogatory; Do not advocate violence, or any illegal activity.
Remember that making the world better begins with responsible action.

Papabob has a solid point. It has been my experiencer as an observer over the past three-quarters of a century that those who make a fetish or profession of "reforming" and otherwise harassing gays and bisexuals all-too-often carry a touch of the same brush themselves. The question always arises: "Just who are the gay-bashing activists trying to convince? Themselves or their respective audiences?"
Michelle B. has a real chance of winning the primary and maybe the general based on the size of the hate/base she panders to. It is the Flyovers that both the GOP and the Democrats aren't factoring in this next race. This nation could swing farther into a Fascist state than it has already with the Patriot Act and FEMA. Think about what the Natio will look like if the Bachmann's of the US get a hold of those bits of legislation and turn them on those they hate. Not a pretty picture.
Am I the only one who is having trouble even imagining these two having sex? Helmet Hair Stepford Glazed Eyes Shrill Voice with Swishy-Hatie on Top???
Just asking.
To quote Charlie brown: "Good grief."
NOT!
GRECOnomics: running a country without collecting taxes from the rich.
Until we have real evidence, I don't think we need to make those accusations, we have enough reason to stop this kind of "couple power" with the facts that we have.
Wait, oh yeah, he did vote present nearly half the time.
If her husband has sexual issues, the problem is not that he may, but the hypocrisy of their actions. Michele and her husband have for most of their working lives received government money, then they espouse how terrible it is for other people to take or need government assistance or a helping hand.
Michele spells, T-R-O-U-B-L-E.
Also, seeing She is now the New Head of The State of Hate (thank goodness anyone appointed to read for Sarah is off today) Mr. Michele is officially Our First Stylist.
i mean President Obama only gave U.S. A FIRST GRANDMOTHER!
;)
Also, why should anyone not be allowed to clearly express their strong disapproval of their lifestyle without the threat of being "punished by those in authority". What about the 1st Amendment? Misnomer "hate-speech laws" are by their very nature unConstitutiona l. I bet you lovers of homosexuals dont care about that, when y'all unfairly chastise those on the right as being anti-Constitutional and anti-American.
