We are concerned about a recent drift towards vitriol in the RSN Reader comments section. There is a fine line between moderation and censorship. No one likes a harsh or confrontational forum atmosphere. At the same time everyone wants to be able to express themselves freely. We'll start by encouraging good judgment. If that doesn't work we'll have to ramp up the moderation.

I wonder; when was the last time this PATHOLOGICAL LIAR went to CONFESSION, or if he'll even be seen by a priest? He would probably be sent out with 100 Rosaries around his CROOKED NECK! Would someone to a movie called, "LIAR-LIAR: THE RO-MONEY - RYAN CHRONICLES?" Just a thought:):):):)

Ryan is such a phony. Never had a "real" job unless it was a chrony MCJob. Lived off his dad's social security death (I'm sorry that your were so deprived in your childhood) benefits and now he plans to destroy Medicare which his mother draws in Fla. But, you can bet they get all they can lay hands on. It's all about communicating Ryan says. These people all die an unhappy death in the manner of Ayn Rand from their greedy enterprises.

Given that the assumptions that are the foundation of what democrats believe are so very different from my own, I can see that it would be easy for them to label Ryan as a liar. To me, he is one of the few who is willing to take on the hard problems we face. Entitlements have to be reformed, but democrats have had such success in demagoging any attempt to do so that they have no interest in real reform. Instead, they just jump all over anyone who makes that effort. Let someone else solve the problem, we have an election to win, seems to be their motto.
