Comments

We are concerned about a recent drift towards vitriol in the RSN Reader comments section. There is a fine line between moderation and censorship. No one likes a harsh or confrontational forum atmosphere. At the same time everyone wants to be able to express themselves freely. We'll start by encouraging good judgment. If that doesn't work we'll have to ramp up the moderation.

General guidelines: Avoid personal attacks on other forum members; Avoid remarks that are ethnically derogatory; Do not advocate violence, or any illegal activity.

Remember that making the world better begins with responsible action.

What hypocrites Republicans are. Most of them profess to be Christians, and yet Jesus would be horrified by their hateful policies. They are enemies of the common good, while at the same time they prate about "family values". Jesus was talking to such as these when he said, "Oh ye hypocrites and liars, how long must I endure ye?". They are an abomination, the bane of our existence, and a serious threat to the people of America.

I haven't read the full document, but what about exclusions on "pre-existing" conditions for adults?? This is going to affect those poor people who suffer from diabetes, cancer conditions, etc. Once a person loses their benefits due to being unemployed, they are lost. Children are one thing, but there are numerous plans to accommodate them. We need to protect the ones that can earn and contribute to the economy.
