Carbonman1950: Now we know the truth about his overseas trip: Fundraising. He has a lot of gall to go begging the wealthy in foreign countries for campaign money. What an embarrassment he is. $50,000 a plate fundraisers in foreign countries, and on a special day for the Jewish, on top of it. The GOP having set the bar at nill with Palin, concerning knowledge and understanding of foreign affairs and world events, again run a person they deem fit to be president with a similar level of competence.
Although the events leading up to people the world over risking their lives for a chance at freedom, are complex and generations in the making, the final straw was hunger, the price of grain during a world wide shortage, like the shortage looming again this year. What trite slogan, or patriotic pablum would a president Romney suggest will fill the bellies of millions hungry for food and freedom.

One more glaring example of Romney's shameless duplicity as he tries to cater to the Israelis and, of course, their US lobby while trashing his own president.

This guy is so desperate to defeat the black president that he has and will continue to lie and deceive everyone. His recent comments about the "Anglo-Saxon" connections between England and the USA were a clear indication. Unfortunately he really meant the "White Anglo-Saxon" connection. Just hearing these comments and looking at his pampered and rich appearance, it appears he is saying, "Vote for me...the nice white guy" who will defeat Mr. Obama.

Hopefully Americans are seeing this guy for what he really is- a charlatan.

Wait one minute. I thought the reason the US intervened in the Middle East was to bring democracy to that part of the world. Democracy was breaking out all over. Arab Spring was just one more step in that process. Fox and the other idiot news sources were crediting Bush policies. I have never heard the Southern people rejoice and go to Temple. Mormons change their views from Wall Street open to Wall Street closing daily....not impressed with that Cultism at all.

I still do not see Israel stop killing Palestinians nor do I see them stop moving the Property Markers.

Actually, Romney shouldn't "blame" Obama for the Arab Spring, he should "blame" Bradley Manning. If Manning released the docs to Wikileaks as accused, it was those docs that the vendor in Tunesia read about and led to his imolating himself which led to the uprising in Tunesia which led to the Uprising in Egypt which led to the uprising in Wisconsin and then Occupy around the world....so at least "blame" the right guy Mit...geez

Thumbs down? For what? It is absolutely true that the revolution in Tunesia was sparked by the vendor imolating himself after reading the cables that Wikileaks released and which they (according to the gov't...nothing proved so far...just accusations) got from Manning? And, both those in Wisconsin as well as Occupy were also clearly inspired by the Arab Spring (e.g., signs in Wisconsin that read "Hosni Walker"). I support Manning and Wikileaks and think both are heroes so not sure what the thumbs down is for?
